First of all, I must thank the creators of the "Phoenix Wright" series for

this idea.

These are the first cards of my "Verdict of Guilt" set, as you can see I

createt a new subtype called "Verdict".

Explanation:

When the duel beginns, you have to either announce

GUILTY

or

NOT GUILTY

Based on what you announced the cards appropriate effects are activated during the duel.

GUILTY: When this card is Normal Summoned, decrease the ATK of 1 monster your opponent controls by 500. Decrease the ATK of a monster that destroyes the monster which ATK has been decreased by this effect by 500.

NOT GUILTY: When this card is Normal Summoned, increase the ATK of this card by 300.

GUILTY: In your Standby Phase, you can remove 1 Verdict-Type monster in your Graveyard from play to decrease your opponent's Life Points by 800.

NOT GUILTY: In your Standby Phase, you can remove 1 Verdict-Type monster in your Graveyard from play to increase your Life Points by 800.

GUILTY: When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you may select 1 Level 4 or lower Verdict-Type monster, except "Judge of Verdict - Verdana from your Deck and Special Summon it to the field in face-up Attack Position. The Deck is then shuffled.

NOT GUILTY: When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you may select Verdict-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or less, except "Judge of Verdict - Verdana" from your Graveyard and Special Summon it to the field in face-up Attack Position. The Deck is then shuffled.

GUILTY: In your opponent's Standby Phase, you can draw 3 cards from your Deck. Choose one of the cards drawn by this effect and put it on top of your Deck.

GUILTY: When this card is Normal Summoned, choose a Spell Card from your Deck and put it in your Graveyard. Your Deck is then shuffled. You can activate the Spell Card put into your Graveyard by this effect in your 2nd Standby Phase after this effect was activated.

NOT GUILTY: When this card is Normal Summoned, choose 1 Spell Card from your Deck which effect contains "Verdict-Type monster" and add it to your hand. Your Deck is then shuffled.

GUILTY: This card cannot attack any of your opponent's face-down monsters, or face-up monsters with an ATK of 1500 or less.

NOT GUILTY: This card cannot attack as long as there are no cards in your opponent's Spell and Trap Card Zone.

GUILTY: By releasing 1 monster you control, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in Attack Position. This effect can only be used once.

NOT GUILTY: By releasing this face-up card, you can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Verdict-Type monster from your Deck to your side of the field.

Kazzel.jpg

GUILTY: Increase the ATK of this card by the ATK of the monster your opponent last summoned. If the ATK of this card exceeds 3000, decrease it by 1000.

NOT GUILTY: Increase the ATK of this card by the ATK of the monster you last summoned (except this card). If the ATK of this card exceeds 3000, decrease it by 1000.

Jyashin.jpg

GUILTY: You can release 1 monster you control to skip both players next Draw Phase. When this card is destroyed during the turn this effect is activated, it is negated.

NOT GUILTY: When this card is Normal Summoned, both draw 1 card from their respective Decks.

Silvia.jpg

GUILTY: The Attribute of all face-up monsters on the field becomes LIGHT. For every Attribute changed by this effect, increase the ATK of this card by 100.

NOT GUILTY: The Type of all monsters on the field becomes Fairy. Increase the ATK of every monster you control that Type was changed by this effect by 100.

Note:

I do NOT own the picture I used for this card. I just used it for the purpose of having a appropriate extension which fixes my card.

DylanoMaclearno, you need to post cards in your own thread.... its the rules.

as for your verdict cards, i think that is a cool idea to make a card effect that you declare before the duel! it makes it more interesting. ^_^

i rate a 8/10, make more!

nice cards

i must say

but its like a free choice

you should make it a dice roll

like if it lands on evens

it not guilty

if it lands on odds

its guilty

so then

depending on what it lands on

the proper effect is activated

or else

its like a free effect after its summoned

just saying

you dont have to change it^_^

well, you have to choose before the duel starts, so what

you decide then may decide upon your defeat or victory, not

knowing what cards your opponent may play. You cannot

change the announcement of GUILTY or NOT GUILTY during

the duel anymore.
