America, good for world affairs?

I'll start by stating that I am an American.

Iraq war, did it make sense for America to go in? was it for their gain (are they stealing oil/resources? Was Saddam even a threat? What do you think about the impact it has made on the world?

Patriot act, is it an invasion of privacy? Should the american government monitor international calls?

Paul Wolfowitz, is it justifiable for him to refuse the world banks money to be donated to poor african countries unless they strictly teach abstinence? in other words, is it fair to not allow the world bank to not give money to countries supporting the use of birth control/condoms?

Discuss.

Seeing as I messed up by not making this a poll, ill tally here.

Has America's influence on the world and itself been a positive one?

0 - Yes

0 - No

1 - Only Because of George W Bush

1 - Blame Capitialism for the world's problems (and NOT the lack of it)

I think This belongs in the general section not the polls section

Anyway: In my opinion America's done alot of good and alot of bad. Canada takes alot of crap from america but we're still brother countries and have there back as they have ours. In my opininons theyre neutral
