2008 Poet of the Year.

Careless Whisper

Alright, I had an E-Mail from Poetry.com, and here's the text on my E-Mail, just the text. I had to censor my address out because that's for my information only.

[spoiler=Submitted Poem(My Raven Parody)]

Everday upon my after school hours

I sit in my room within the highest tower

And in my room, I sit on my throne

The throne in which I sit in front of my hard-ware drone

With the vision of a corpse within my memory core

Only this and nothing more.

And on this hard-ware drone I sit in front

Gathering my forces and resources as I prepare to confront

Conquering land and mineral points with relative ease

With loyalty at my side I do as I please

As my men charge forward they hear me from the shore

"Spill the gore," and nothing more

One-by-one my enemies fall

Until only one stands above it all

As my loyal men prepare to begin to charge

I click the button to make the screen enlarge

They shout a battle cry as they rush to war

"Quote thy Lord, 'Spill the gore.'"

With me as the victor and dominator of the world

I get out of my throne with a single little twirl

I head down the steps to find something to drink

and finished with the drink I rinse it in the sink

and head back up to my chamber door

because this is what I do, and none else more

...I am' date=' Zachary is my real name....I would have thought that Obvious, sense it's talking about me.

I would love to talk (not really face-to-face of your writing skills and poetic skills as well. I just want to know how modern people right nowadays.

Why? what's there to know about it. It's more along the style of the Poet, and the creativity of it all. There's nothing to do with a Fashion Style for Modern Poetry anymore, sense every style is so diverse.

Nah, I'm not one to make myself look like a Smart-Alyc and a Prick infront of the world. I'll just say -

"-Thank you for letting me share my poem to the public and I would dearly hope that you have enjoyed it." And then I'll add the list of people I am thanking for this poem, and then I'll say "So have a safe night. Again, I hope you enjoyed my poem here, and God Bless." And then that's that. But I'm not reading this poem, I'm reading my "There will be no Gray" poem because I find that to be alot better worked and more realistic and serious, other than this one, which is just about me playing computer games all day. lol
