This is a restart of my failed story Aster Yuki. Note: This is about 12-20 years after Jaden left Duel Academy. Jaden is the champion. And this is a preview for Jake Phien's deck.

 

Chapter 1 The Exams and Battling a Legend

 

This story takes place in the future. As Jake Phein was running to the Duel Academy exams he accidentally smashed into Jaden Yuki, the legendary duelist of the world. As he scrambled to put his deck together Jaden said, “I think this might be useful,” said Jaden as Jake was handed a Winged Kuriboh.

“Not a good card but very useful,” Jake thought to himself. “You’ll be proud of me.”

As Jake rushed to the exams he barely made it on time. He met one of his buddies William Kran. He had to face Jaden Yuki himself. “Wwwwwhhhhhaaaaatttt?” said Jake as he came onto the training field.

“I’ll be nice and easy,” said Jaden.

“I summon Elemental Hero Avian in attack mode and play a face down and end my turn.”

“Ok,” Jake thought. “Should I first special summon Cyber Dragon then special summon Dark Grepher. Yah I should.” “I special summon Cyber Dragon and activate Dark Grepher’s special ability so I send Dark Effigy to the graveyard. Now attack Dark Grepher at Avian with Dark Sword Slash. Now attack Cyber Dragon directly with Cyber Flame Breath. I play one face down and I end my turn.”

“Ok no mister nice guy. I play Polymerization to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix to create Elemental Hero Flame Wingman in attack mode. Now I activate Card Destruction sending both of our hands to the graveyard.”

“ Yes now I can win the duel.”

“I activate E-Hero Necroshade’s effect now since he’s in the graveyard I can Special Summon E-Hero Bladeedge. And I end my turn.”

“Yes! Now I can beat you Jaden. I activate Dark Nepthy’s effect Now I can special summon him on my next turn. Now I activate Torrential Tribute all monsters on the field are destroyed. Now I summon Shadow Delver attack directly with Shadow Strike,” said Jake as Shadow Delver attacked directly.

“I activate Magic Cylinder now you take 1500 points of damage,” said Jaden grinning.

“I play a facedown and I end my move.”

“I summon E-Hero Wildheart and attack Shadow Delver with Sword Slash.”

“What did you do that for? You destroyed both monsters.”

“I play Polymerization to fuse Clayman and Burstinatrix to create Rampart Blaster in Attack Mode now attack directly with Missile Fire and I end my turn.”

“Ahh,” said Jake.

1200/2000

“Ok you asked for it Jaden. I play Dark Fusion to fuse Valkyrion the Magna Warrior and Dark Necroshade to create Evil Hero Dark Gaia with 5700 attack points. And go Dark Nephthy's in Attack Mode. Now Evil Hero Dark Gaia attack E-Hero Rampart Blaster with Tail Smash and win this duel,” said Jake as Evil Hero Dark Gaia destroyed Rampart Blaster and Jaden’s life points plummeted to zero.

“Nice Job Jake. You’re in Silfer Red my old dorm. Oh and Jake here is my E-Hero deck I want you to have it.”

“Why?”

“Because the way you battled was just like me oh and take good care of my deck.”

“Thanks Jaden.”

Arriving at Duel Academy Part 1

 

Jake and William were sitting together on the helicopter and they were both in the Silfer Red Dorm. As the helicopter landed they rushed to the dorm and they were in the same room. “I get top!” shouted Jake and William at the same time.

“Fine,” said William as he hit the bottom deck.

“Hey is this room open?” said a new guy.

“Yah it is middle bunk and what is your name?” said Jake

“Chazz Phoenix. My father is Aster Phoenix and my godfather is Chazz Princeton,” said Chazz.

“I challenge you to a duel,” Jake said.

“Yah!” said Chazz.

“I go first,” said Chazz. “I play Clocktower Prison and I summon Destiny Hero Diamond Dude in defense mode, I play a facedown, and I end my turn.”

“I special summon Cyber Dragon in attack mode by its effect now I play polymerization to fuse Valkyrion the Magna Warrior and Dark Necroshade to create Evil Hero Dark Gaia with 5700 attack points in attack mode. I summon Dark Grepher in attack mode. Now Cyber Dragon attack Diamond Dude with Cyber Breath. Now Evil Hero Dark Gaia attack directly and win this duel.”

“Hold on I activate Kuriboh’s special effect if I discard him to the graveyard I take 0 battle damage this turn.”

“Fine! I play a face down and end my turn.”

“Ok I activate the field spell card Mausoleum of the Emperor. Now I activate Torrential Tribute sending all monster cards to the grave. I summon Destiny Hero Defender in defense mode and I end my turn.

“I summon E-Hero Clayman in defense mode and I end my turn.”

“I pay 1000 life points to summon D-Hero Double Dude and I end my turn.”

“I play polymerization to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix to create E-Hero Flame Wingman and I summon Sparkman in attack mode and I play another polymerization to fuse Flame Wingman and Sparkman to create Shining Flare Wingman in attack mode. Since there are 4 monsters in the grave Shining Flare Wingman gains an extra 1200 attack points so it now has 3700 attack points and Shining Flare Wingman attack with Shining Flare Burst on Destiny Hero Double Dude.”

“I activate Magic Cylinder so you take 2700 points of damage.”

“I play a face down and I end my turn.”

1300/2000

“I summon Destiny Hero Diamond Dude in Defense mode and I end my turn.”

“I play pot of greed now I draw two extra cards. Now I play Card Destruction sending both of our hands to the grave. Now I play Miracle Fusion so I remove from play Avian, Burstinatrix, Bubbleman, and Clayman to summon E-Hero Electrum. Now Shining Flare Wingman attack Destiny Hero Diamond Dude and win me this duel,” said Jake as Chazz’s lifepoints plummeted to zero. “Good game,” said Chazz.

Arriving at Duel Academy Part 2

 

Jake, Chazz, and William walked to the Chancellors room. They were about to tell of the duel Jake and Chazz had. When they came in Jaden was the Chancellor. “How are you the Chancellor?” asked Jake, Chazz, and William.

“I’m the Chancellor now.”

“We were about to tell you of the duel me and Chazz had.”

“I saw it Jake and Chazz. And Chazz those are your fathers card right.”

“Yah he gave me them before I left and said ‘Say Hi to Jaden’.”

“Jake could you and Chazz follow me to this area.”

“Sure!”

As Jake and Chazz followed Jaden they went into into the Obelisk Blue Duel Arena in which Kran an Obelisk Blue and Jaden challenged them into a tag team duel. “Lets do this,” shouted Jake and Chazz.

“I go first,” said Kran. “I summon V-Tiger Head in attack mode and I play a face down and I end my turn.”

“My move,” said Jaden. “I summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole in attack mode now I play Fake Hero and I special summon Neos contact Fustion between Grand Mole and Neos to create E-Hero Grand Neos in attack mode now I play contact fusion and I end my turn.”

“I go,” said Jake. “I play polymerization to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix to create E-Hero Flame Wingman in attack mode. Now I play Fake Hero to special summon Sparkman now I play Pot of Greed drawing two more cards. Now I play polymerization to fuse Flame Wingman and Sparkman to create E-Hero Shining Flare Wingman in attack mode. Since 4 E-Hero cards are in the grave Flare Wingman gains an extra 1200 attack points so it has 3700 now. I play a face down and I end my turn.”

“I go,” said Chazz. “I play Clock Tower Prison. I play polymerization to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix to create E-Hero Phoenix Enforcer. I summon Sparkman in attack mode. I play polymerization to fuse Phoenix Enforcer and Sparkman to create E-Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer in attack mode. Since 4 E-Hero’s are in the grave it gains 1200 attack points so it now has 3700 attack points. And I end my turn.”

“I play W-Wing Catapult. Contact Fusion time so I remove from play V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult to create VW-Wing Tiger Catapult in attack mode and I end my turn.”

“I activate Grand Neos effect now I can send Flare Wingman to the grave.”

“Hold On,” said Jake. “I activate Compulsory Evacuation Device sending Grand Neos to your fusion deck.”

“Fine I end my turn.”

“I play a face down and Flare Wingman attack Jaden Directly with Shining Flare Burst. I end my turn.”

“I summon D-Hero Diamond Dude. Now Shining Phoenix Enforcer attack VW-Wing Tiger Catapult with Shining Phoenix Burst. Now Diamond Dude attack directly. And I end my turn.”

“I special summon Cyber Dragon into attack mode and I end my turn.”

“I summon Neo-Spacian Dark Panther in attack mode and I end my turn.”

“Flare Wingman attack Jaden with Shining Flare Burst and defeat him,” said Jake as Jaden’s life points plummeted to zero. “I end my turn.

“Shining Phoenix Enforcer do the same thing at Kran with Shining Phoenix Burst,” said Chazz as Kran’s lifepoints plummeted to zero.

“Nice game,” said Jaden and Kran. Then they all burst out laughing.
