This is also kind of a tribute to Siegfried von Schröder

(Yu-Gi-Oh Kaiba Grand Prix)

The controler of this card cannot activate any other Field Spell cards as long as this card remains face-up on the field. Add "Valkyrie" to the names of all face-up monsters on the field. For every monster's name changed by this effect, in the turn this card was activated, put 1 Nibelung Counter on this card. Whenever this card would be destroyed by a card effect, remove 1 Nibelung Counter from this card and negate the destruction of this card. You can remove 1 face-up Level 4 or higher "Valkyrie" monster you control from play to draw 1 card from your Deck.

Note:

I do NOT own the picture I used for this card. I just used it for the purpose of having a appropriate extension which fixes my card.

If played at the right time' date=' it could have at least 5 or so counters. Then you simply tribute as many monsters as you want to draw cards? D.D. Survivor FTW?

Look at the effect closely, it can still be destroyed by the opponent

pleying another Field Spell Card.

Due to the fact that this is a Field Spell Card, the opponent can use

this drawing effect too.

Thanks for the help ^^

But negating the effect was just what I didn't want it to do

because I thought that would make it overpowered.

Well, unless the card has multiple effects which do other things as well, it's pretty much the same thing. But I don't think it makes it overpowered.

Well, the chances of that are slim to none. None of the current competitive decks run Field Spells.

You're right. I misread. Balanced.
