JesusofChaos I take it that you see the way the deck works? :D

Now armageddon08, please allow me to explain the idea behind the deck. Yes it is a themed deck in most of the monsters/spells/traps in it are based around Egypt. But the function of the deck is a stall deck.

 

This is set up around 4 key monsters, thou others in the deck do help in this:

Exxod, Master of the Guard (ATK/0 DEF/4000)

Millennium Shield (ATK/0 DEF/3000)

Giant Soldier of Stone (ATK/1300 DEF/2000)

Stone Statue of the Aztecs (ATK/300 DEF/2000)

 

As you can see each of these cards have a high DEF value and a low ATK value. This is key to allowing me to get them out fast. How? Well first each is an Earth type Monster and below 1500 ATK points. So my 2 Giant Rats then come into play.

When he is destroyed via battle, his special ability allows me to pull from the DECK any monster with 1500 or less ATK points directly to the field! That means that I can pull any of the last 3 monsters (more then likely Millennium Shield!) directly to the field. And during my 2nd Main Phase, set it to DEF Position! I now have a wall up. But wait I am not done yet.

In the spell cards are 2 Shield and Sword cards. These change the ATK and DEF of the cards. So my 3000 point wall now becomes a 3000 point attacking monster!

 

Next is Exxod.... To summon him I have to tribute 1 monster with on my side of the field with Sphinx in the name. And as you can see there are 9 different monsters with Sphinx in the name. Now why him? Because as long as he is on the field, any time a EARTH monsters is Flip Summoned, my opponent takes 1000 life points damage! And most the monsters in this deck are EARTH. And there are at least 11 monsters with Flip Effects in the deck! More then enough to wipe out 8000 life points.

 

But I am not done yet... Now lets look at Megarock Dragon: It can only be summoned by removing from play a Rock type monster from the Graveyard. And its ATK & DEF becomes the number of cards removed from play x 700! And most of the cards in this deck are Rock. But not to worry.. as even if Megarock Dragon fails... there is a back-up play.

 

In the form of Return from the Different Dimension! This powerful Trap Card allows me to bring back as many of my monsters removed from play as I can, IF I give up half my life points. A handy trick to know if you want to summon more then one monster in a turn.

 

And finely there is my 1-2-3 punch of Andro Sphinx, Sphinx Teleia and Theinen the Great Sphinx. Now I do have to bring the Pyramid of Light out to put them in play. But once in play (at a cost of 500 life points) they are doing 2500 to 3000 points per hit! Also should they go out via taking out the Pyramid of Light then Theinen comes out. All I have to do is pay 1000 life points and Theinen gains 3000 ATK points till the end of the turn. For a punishing grand total of 6500 ATK points. Very few monsters can withstand that kind of damage!

 

Not even going into the power of 4 of my trap cards.. Magic Cylinder, Ordeal of a Traveler, and the rare Judgment of Anubis and Curse of Anubis.

These 4 trap cards can not only turn things around but do some nasty damage too! Magic Cylinder does a 1 for 1 point conversion of ATK points to Life Points. So you hit me with a large monster, I flip that trap and you just hit yourself!

Ordeal of a Traveler can shut down an attack before it even started, and keeps doing so!

Curse of Anubis changes all EFFECT monsters to Defense position and lowers their DEF to 0. Plus they can not change battle positions! So remember my Sword and Shield cards? Spring this bad boy and then pop Sword and Shield and watch my non effect monsters wipe the floor with ya!

And lets not forget Judgment of Anubis (First seen in the Battle City Arc). It has the power to negate a spell card and destroying it. Then you can wipe out one face up monster on the field. As a final slap in the face, you take the FULL ATK points as Life Points damage! Can you say OUCH?

 

So what do you think of them now?

The deck is set with more then one strategy.. Theinen could win, or Megarock or Exxod. I believe in having more then one way to win with a deck. Because if you set it for just one way.. then someone that knows your deck can set up a defense to stop you cold. But with more then one way.. you have a good chance to slip around that defense.

sorry to say, this deck is a lost hope, and the fact that you have more than one 'way' to win means that this deck fails

get one win condition, get GOOD cards, AND

You shouldn't have a deck with so many cards. I'm not saying this to be mean, but if you have a larger deck you have a lot less chance of drawing the cards you need for specific combos. This being said, you should have a deck with around 40 cards. Also, take out cards that have no combos, such as 4 Starred Ladybug of Doom.
