No, it doesn't. It made me quit. Now I only play Yugimanz and Diamond.

Yeah, I used to collect Pokemon cards, but now I only collect Yugioh cards. One time I went to Wal-Mart and planned on buying 4 packs of Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl. When I got there, there was only 1 pack and all 3 starter decks. I bought the Empoleon deck and 1 pack of Diamond and Pearl. In my pack of Diamond and Pearl, I pulled Empoleon LV.X. NOTE: This was before they released Empoleon LV.X, Infernape LV.X, and Torterra LV.X in the collector tins.

I stopped playing the game after I found out about Yu-Gi-Oh (around the beggining of Yu-Gi-Oh)

They have a new system in the game called the "LV" system.

OH GEEZ I WONDER WHERE THAT IDEA CAME FROM.

Also, Charizard is serious crap now.

The strongest cards now are Slaking and Tyranitar EX.

If you thought that Yu-Gi-Oh is going down hill, the Pokemon TCG simple threw themself overboard, falling endlessy in a never ending fail pit.

But why I still don't understand that people are still playing it. It's long, boring, more rules then the Yu-Gi-Oh card game (*gasp*) and keep adding more rules to it and Pokemon can only attack if they are attached with elemental energy cards, which you have to stack like what? 10-20 cards in your deck. And the Evolution thing is ssssllllllooooooooowwwwwww... If your opponent already has a power house on their side and keep healing it with potions or other Trainer cards, you stand no change.

Give me the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG anytime.

I stopped playing after they changed the card backs :/

WTF? They did there in Japan?

Because they still have the same backs here >_>

Show me the changed back please :o

Here you go' date=' right from the official website!

The one on the right is the older one, and my favourite too.

Wow... why did they changed the back in the first place?

Also, the back from the English version looks like this:

my girl and I started playing again.

Suffice of to say, its not as great as it originally was.

if they had kept the same format they started with, It'd be a lot more fun to play, and it would still keep the older cards playable, instead of just collectable.

It would also add a lot more options and cards into current decks.

However, they changed far too much about the card game to want to continue playing.

I played the game like what? 10 years ago (I lost count really)?

I played by rules once or twice. It never inspired me to create a decent pokemon deck really. And since the Pokemon card game has changed alot, it's mostly I lost track on the TCG itself, since I don't pay much attention to it anymore. In other words, I don't know rules of the game anymore.

Also, I'm talking about MY expiernce. So I could be wrong.

Wait is the card back on the right the North American version?!

I still play with older cards because the newer ones are getting wierder and crappier.
