My 1st card since hiatus: Thorn-Crowned Emotions

"Draw 2 cards and reveal them. Your opponent selects 1 of the cards and adds it to their hand. When a player activates a card drawn by this effect, their opponent takes 1000 damage. When this card is drawn by a card effect, discard it, then draw 1 card."

I worded the last part to make the effect compulsory, as suggested by the original OCG. If it's optional, you know what changes to make. ;)

I like the card. The name isn't very Yugioh-ish, but nevermind. The problem with this card is that it doesn't seem to give you an immediate, direct advantage. Since your opponent gets to choose which card to keep, this card will backfire a lot of times. Then again, in the proper deck it could be useful... I don't know, it seems balanced, borderline underpowered, but since it involves automatic drawing there might be ways of using it well. I still think it's too dependent of your opponent to be usable, but I'd like somebody to prove me wrong, honestly. ;)

I was thinking that if you chose the card, you could simply leave the opponent with a dead card. Also, I gave it an additional effect, to work with that. Thanks for the advice.
