Meti's Latest Skit. Sario Ojima's and Cydonia Crystal's Marriage.

With the city of Artarius finally rebuilt, every piece of rubble now swept away, the bloodmass that carpetted the ruins now replaced with streets of brilliant sheen and buildings of miraculous sight.

The lake was no longer blackened as the moonlight gentily bathed it's surface. Instead, it's surface reflected a beautiful stream of vivid colors, from dark purple to bright neon green, gleaming light an aurora.

But, every builidng within Artarius were still dark, all but one small crecent building, with the Purple and White glazed flags of the newly restored nation and race of Shakari, to mark the citidel known as the Sohartan Church.

The mass file of citizens of both Shakari and Spirit clambered into the church with each individual seated accordingly, with only 2 men standing, at the top of the aisle. One, wearing a blazing red gown and a white pope-cap. The other, hansomely dressed in a black and slik looking cloak, his ash-black hair ragged in a messy sort of way, but his eyes reflected the color of that of the moon itself.

The lights within the church were all curiously placed along the edge of the long aisle, but none were shining any light far enough to reach the handsomely dressed man, so that the only light in which could reach him, was a circle of basking moonlight, like a spotlight.

A cool and passionate, loving breeze filled the great hall, as the doors of the aisle opened slowly, and a lady, of such beauty calmly and slowly walked from behind the door, wearing a pearly white dress, to match the shining color of her silvery white and wavy hair and her lime green eyes.

Cydonia Crystal, continued to walk slowly, never taking a single eye off of her lover, to whom she will now be married, as Sario Ojima had promised her, and then inwine in Paradise.

She reached the top of the aisle, as Sario held his hand out to meet with hers. The light the moon casted upon them gave them both the image of beautifully, peaceful and unharmed ghosts, standing in the brilliant purplish-blue gleam.

"Please." The Shakari Pope began, as each and every being within the Great Hall fell silent and sat respectively into their chairs.

"Welcome, to the first of hopefully many fluent and graceful celebrations in the history of the Shakari and Spirit age, as we are now to bind two lovers, in holy matrimony." Everyone was silent then, Sario and Cydonia looked straight into each other's eyes, purple into green, both reflecting the moonlight like pearl and emerald. "Also, within unison of the these two, "he pointed at Sario and Cydonia each in turn, "We shall mark history as we unite a Spirit and a Shakari for the first time in the history of the universe."

The pope then turned to Sario, who did not break his gaze into Cydonia's eyes, but still listened. "Do you, Sario Arcturas Ojima, take this women Shakari, to be your wife? In sickness and in health, and forever in peace?"

"I Do." Sario said, deep, but very proudly.

The pope then turned to Cydonia, who, like her lover, did not break gaze but still listened. "Do you, Cydonia Crystal, take this Man Spirit, to be your husband? To promise to follow him, and bless him with love, forever in peace?"

"I Do." Her voice rang out happily, she embraced Sario and laid her head across his chest. Sario, held her tightly in his arms. "I do." She repeated in a loving whisper.

"Then, with one last task at hand, the rings." The pope said after hesitation in admiriation towards the two.

As those words were said, a man, who wore the same style of cloak as Sario did, with flaming red hair and brilliantly shining black eyes, stepped out from beside Sario, who then offered his hand open. And, Meti Soharta placed two rings into Sario's palm, who put the first one around his own finger and gentily and slowly placed the second ring upon Cydonia's skinny and long finers.

"And now, " The pope began as Meti stepped back to his original spot, "I shall pronouce you, Husband and Wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ojima. You may now kiss your new bride."

And as he finalized it, Sario obeyed, placing one hand on Cydonia's back, and the other gentily placed upon her cheek and then met her lips with his own.

A great and soft 'awe' sounded from the watchers as well as many hands clapping and many sobs of great joy.

Now it was over, now it was done. The two lovers, bonded for Paradise, connected through happiness, and intwined in destiny.

I felt that it could be more emotional IMO....

But I was listening to [israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo`ole - "What A Wonderful World"] while reading this and wondered about my own 'Wedding' should this happen lol. Great and very vivid, I could picture myself sitting there watching all of this unfold.... But something is lacking in the emotion area ya?... (meh thats my 2 cents anyway)....

lol..Thank you Icyblue...I do feel like I should have put more emotion into it.

Well, um, without any background knowledge of the species, characters, or setting, it's hard to say anything more than it's an interesting story. Even though I didn't understand the meaning behind most of it, I definitely liked it. Though, I agree with Icy that it is lacking slightly in the emotion department. All-around, well done ^_^

I will...I will post the Introduction to my first Book for my next Skit. which shouldn't be warm and passionate...it's more of a dark outlook.
