The Slime Lord Posted June 21, 2008 Report Share Posted June 21, 2008 The demo was released a little back ago... man I wish I had Xbox live.... Regarding that, I don't think a sliver subscription costs anything. Recently, I had to make a Japanese Xbox Live account for the demo. It didn't cost a think other than about 15 minutes of my time. (If anyone wants to know how to make a Japanese Xbox Live account, just PM me).  The demo is awesome by the way. The voice acting took a minute to get used to, but once I got used to it, it was pretty good. Especially Karol's, and I thought he was going to be one of the characters I wouldn't like. As for the battle system, it's pretty similar to Abyss'. But it took me a while to get used to attacking with B and using artes with A. And enemies can be freakin' annoying to beat sometimes. It's cool that they have smarter AI, but jeez... And the boss near the end of the demo is pretty hard. I usually end up using 2-5 Life Bottles (during the course of the demo, items are really easy to come by). Hmm, what else... Yuri is pretty easy to use. I thought Estelle would be cool to use, but she's really slow, can only attack twice (Yuri can attack four times), and if you're not using her for healing, you're screwed. And the battle music is pretty cool I guess. Oh yeah, and no Judith or Raven. :( tl;dr: The demo is kinda hard, but good. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
