DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE PICTURES USED IN THE CARDS. I HAVE THE ARTISTIC ABILITY OF A BLIND DUCK AND THEREFORE COULDN'T DRAW THAT GOOD IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON THEM. I NINJAED THESE PICTURES FROM DEVIANT ART, YOU'LL FIND MOST OF THESE BY SEARCHING THEM UP.

Ah, my first try at this. I worked for a long time getting these done. Some I'm happy with, others...well, it's easy to tell.

-NOTE: I KNOW THE CARD ART I USE SUCKS. DON'T REMIND ME. I WANT CRITIQUE BASED ON THE ORIGINALITY AND USEFULNESS OF THE CARDS I HAVE CREATED, NOT HOW MUCH THE CARD ART BLOWS. THANK YOU!-

First, the incomplete set of Ancient Energy (ACEG-EN). I'm missing a lot of cards from the set, because I haven't progressed far enough in my fan fiction story to get enough ideas for new Dragon-Type monsters to use in the story yet.

Floating Clay Fortress - Super Rare

Fusion materials are 1 EARTH monster and 1 WIND monster. It's a WIND and an EARTH monster (sort of like Light and Darkness Dragon, but for WIND/EARTH as opposed to LIGHT/DARK) Once per turn, it can kill something with less ATK than it and deal damage to your opponent equal to the difference between the monster's ATK points. It can't attack during the turn you use it. So, it's like an attack, but it passes by Sakuretsu, Mirror Force, and Gravity Bind. Thing is, it only kills something that's face-up.

Flute of Calling Dragon - Common

103241aj1.jpg

Frostflare Dragon - Super Rare

103241id8.jpg

Fusion materials are 1 FIRE and 1 WATER monster. It counts as both FIRE and WATER. When it kills something in battle, the destroyed monster's ATK comes out of the opponent's Life Points. When it attacks, it stalls all your opponent's face-up monsters, as they can't declare an attack during your opponent's next turn. Any face-down monster that's Flip Summoned can still attack, and so can any newly summoned monsters.

Tempest Dragon - Super Rare

103241el7.jpg

It gets one effect based on the next card effect your opponent uses. It can only get one per turn. If it's a monster effect, Tempest responds by killing a monster on the field. If it's a spell, Tempest halves the ATK of all your opponent's face-up monsters. If it's a Trap, Tempest becomes immune to traps until the end of the turn.

The Arbiter - Solencio - Ultimate Rare

103241qr0.jpg

My Egyptian God Card. Of course, it's banned, but I thought it would be nice to try and make one. It has the Egyptian God staples; unaffected by traps, spells only work for a turn, and it's summoned by tributing 3 monsters. Its ATK and DEF are the combined power of what was sacrificed to summon it. It can give up 1000 ATK to destroy a card on the field. You can tribute a monster to give its ATK to Solencio. Broken, of course, but banned.

I know the pics are HORRIBLE.

I just said "to hell with it, I'm just getting the pictures quickly and going with them..."

If I could draw them, they'd be a lot better.

Thank you for the feedback, but I'd appreciate more based on the cards and not their steaming-pile-of-crap pictures. Thank you! :)

I know I won't catch them all, so I'll just skim over them and point out the ones that are more obvious.

Blazing Fury - pretty sure you don't need the comma (,) after "field". Also, I think "conduct your Battle Phase" is wrong. I'd change it to "[You must] skip your Battle Phase during the turn you activate this card." or something like that.

Burrow Dragon - again, I'm not sure about this, but I think you have to say "opponent's Life Points". And I just recently started paying attention to this, but I know you can say "their" instead of "his/her". I don't think his/her is wrong, but I know "their" is correct.

Burst Flare Dragon - I hate cards like this, because there aren't many cards with effects like this, so OCG is iffy for me. I like the effect, but I hate trying to make correct OCG with effects like this. I'm not even going to try to word it. :P

Dragon's Fang - "Activate only when"...only is a big factor with this card. Otherwise, you can activate it whenever you want.

Dragon's Tear - "one" = 1

I gave up after that. You put up a lot of cards. :P I can try some more later, but that was just to give you an idea. I'm not perfect with OCG, so I still like when people correct me. So before you go changing your cards because of what I said, you may want to get a second opinion. ;)

First of all, YOUR CARDS ARE NOT FIRST EDITION!!! Putting the words "1st Edition" on a card doesn't make it 1st Edition, you need a gold sticker... les'se, overpowered cards are:

"Blazing Fury" -- a REALLY BIG smashing ground... overpowered

"Burst Flare" would be limited, but not OP.

"Cobalt Dragon" is very overpowered... just about invincible to effects that try to kill him (how are you going to get 2 effects that destroy him in the same turn?) and with high ATK, and the ability to implement that ATK in battle as he pleases...

"Dragon Commander" can have a max. 4000 ATK, which is wayyy much for a lvl 3 monster... broken.

"Dragon's Fang" a Spell Speed 2 Pot of Greed with an easily-filled situational requirement, making Dragon decks very overpowered... so the card is banned as well..

"Dragon's Tear" tribute summon BEWD, then have it attack three times... yeah, not so smart...

``````````
You know what, I'm done? These cards aren't quality... it's just a bunch of cards quickly assembled because you like Dragons (the set in the TCG already recieving some of the monster suppport, next to Fiends)...
I declare 1/10th of this set actually TCG-considerable (none of it is worthy..., due to the fact that most of the cards are unoriginal, overpowered, or have bad pictures... You need to make a few cards over a longer period of time, instead of throwing together a bunch of useless cards, wasting the already-diminished bandwidth of our internet... make something quality; with thought.. and make it not related to dragons...
You might as well pitch the set.
1st edition is a preference. Gold stickers are meaningless to me.
Blazing Fury...I think you mean Stamping Destruction, not Smashing Ground...
It isn't overpowered. The whole idea of destroying spells and traps is to have a clear field from which to declare attacks with. Since you can't attack during the turn you activate it, it's not overpowered. Plus, you lose all your spells and traps as well.
Burst Flare is useless. It just sits there waiting for you to take Battle Damage, and has to be face-up to work. Summoning a 600 isn't smart unless you're doing something along the lines of suiciding D.D. Warrior Lady into something to kill it, whereas you'd take the Battle Damage and inflict 1000. Plus, Burst Flare is better used swinging directly for 1200 than automatically dying (notice I didn't make it a choice) for 1000.
Cobalt isn't nearly as overpowered as you perceive him to be. It only works on effects that TARGET, which is few and far between. Plus, in the case of a monster, it doesn't destroy it. Getting it in face-up Defense Position is hard enough, as it would require either summoning him, then switching him next turn (provided he lives that long), or having you TRIBUTE SET (and aside from the odd Guardian Sphinx, who in their right mind does that?) and have your opponent be ogodstupid enough to have a <1400 run into it. Plus, I geared it with 2300 ATK specifically to fail to Monarchs. >.>
Dragon Commander, broken? People don't complain about Goblin King, and he's a Level 1, IIRC. Equip it with Opti-Camouflage, and it makes my Commander broken in comparison how exactly?
Fang's text is off, but seriously, it's not as broken as some cards like the engine for Lightsworn (I forget its name; you draw 2 cards, then send the top four cards of your deck to the grave; it's a spell which requires a Lightsworn to use. You could mill four different Lightsworn monsters for Judgement Dragon, or the Lightsworn monster that hits the field when it's sent from the deck to the grave automatically.).
Dragon's Tear is only useful if you can get enough monsters dead that turn. Perhaps I should re-word it in that the count of dead dragons starts after its activation.
...Honestly, I tried Dragons only because I made up the concept a while back, when I was a complete n00b to the game of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and I had to revive the story for it, ergo, I had to revive the concept.
I'm going to try and get my Alchemy strategy up soon. I can't promise any more quality in the pictures, but it will be a more original idea than just making dragons something other than "lol, I have to keep my monsters alive to tribute, oh, they died, all my hand is 7 star dragons, I need to pick up something. ODAM, another tribute dragon."
Sorry if I wanted to breathe life into what I felt was a dead engine in the game. >.>
