Time Corruption (Counter-Trap with an incredibly strange/unique effect)

I've had a bit of an obsession with Yu-Gi-Oh cards that change fundamentals of the game, and I've had a lot of fun on Master Duel using things like "Ground Collapse" to screw around with people. By that same token, I've had this idea for a Yu-Gi-Oh card for some years; and only now have I had the courage to post it online. The art was made in about ten minutes, and it's not perfect. The effect took about as long to word out succinctly enough to put on the card (without having to use a magnifying glass), but even so I will post the effect verbatim.

  • This Counter-Trap Card can only be played on your opponent's turn, and only in response to a Spell/Trap that specifically continues (not starts) a Chain in this context. If "Time Corruption" is not responded to, by way of destruction/negation; and the Chain successfully resolves: Keep the card face-up in your Spell/Trap Zone. This card is now a Continuous Trap.

  • In this game-state, the Chain is "frozen". During this time, you have until the end of your turn to "edit" the Chain (by selectively destroying and replacing Chain-Linked cards with your own applicable cards). Once your turn is over, the Chain will resolve as if "Time Corruption" had not been played (it is removed from the Chain-Link as a result). Once the Chain (sans "Time Corruption") is successfully resolved, the turn counter will move backwards to the Turn Count/Phase where the Chain was created.
