A New Trading Card Game

I was thinking of making a new trading card game. But I'm gonna need 2 things....

 

  • A name
  • Your help.

 

I hope you guys can help me out! Here are name ideas from me, and you guys.

[spoiler=The Game's Structure]

I was thinking along the lines of......

 

Each player has points called Battle Health. You may play with

 

250-500 Battle Health.

 

Each player gets 30-50 cards in their Deck.

 

There are:

 

Beast Cards (like Monsters (YGO) or Creatures. (Chaotic)

Power Cards (like Spell Cards)

Upgrades (like Equip Cards)

Advantage Cards (like Traps)

 

Each Beast card gets the following stats:

 

Power

Shield

Stealth

Health

 

When a Beast Cards health is reduced to 0 it is removed from the game. When the other players have no Beast Cards, you may battle the other player. Like most games, it is

 

Battle Health - Beasts' Power = Battle Health

 

When 2 beasts battle, whatever one has more Stealth, can use their Advantage Cards or Upgrade Cards first.

 

Power Cards can increase stats, or decrease the stats of a Beast.

 

Advantage Cards and Upgrades cards are like Power Cards, except the can increase Power and Shield, whereas Power Cards increase Health and Stealth and are permanent. Adv. Cards and Upgrades are temporary.

 

And thats everything...I think...

Zones? Name of Deck, Graveyard, RFP and Each Zones name if at all....

 

"Creatures" are based in mythology and in TCG its Magic The Gathering, not Chaotic, even if they are called that there....

 

Example card for each? (This only means the text version)

 

Standard Power and Stealth? Do they have a way to defend themselves? ie) Defense mode etc...

 

Once you have those I'm sure we can help in some way...

Cool, I'm actually working on a card game with my friend. Can my friend and I use the field idea that you created. We still need a field and stuff. 3 decks are already finished in the card game that my friend and I are working on. Hey, maybe we could create some clubs. 1 my card game, and 1 for yours. What do you think of that idea. Maybe we could send the cards to each other via pm. Then we coulod use each other's card ideas for both of the card games.

Alas, each card game is based on each other... The difference is how much more unique you can make it with the templates learned from other tcg's ;).

 

Now for formal help :P

-Try and keep the spell like cards in the same zones, it will cause less confusion.

-I like the defending cards thing, great job there :D

-Are you gonna be comfy drawing cards dead center like that? If so keep it as is.....

Change some of the names on the field, they are a wee-bit too yugioh like. Heres a cool name i made, and i even made a commercial script for it

 

*windy noise* The beasts have been awakened. It's up to you to summon up courage and use their power. *Stronger wind noise* You now hold the power to destroy all of your enemies. Use the power you hold to annialhate (hope i spelled right) all that is evil in our world. Warring Gods, the trading card game...*wind noises settle down*
