3rd Card added: Chrizan Ninja

Noble Legend

Recommended Posts

Now, I've noticed that I haven't posted a thread in a while, so I decided to make both these cards just to use the excuse so I could. Both cards have been worked on hard, and both don't have extremely long effects. I wanted to shorten the effect length since in reality, real cards rarely have long effects. So being the "realistic" card section, I made these cards shorter effects. I know these aren't the best of cards, but I don't mind them. And YES, these cards do use the new OCG, so don't correct me please.

The Holo effects are done by Simplicity_Ninja

The OCG was done by me and Browarod ;)

Effect:This card can only be Advance Summoned during your Draw Phase. (This is treated as a Normal Summon.) When this card is Summoned, discard 2 cards from your hand to draw 2 additional cards from your Deck. While this card is face-up in your Graveyard, if an effect which discards card(s) from a player's hand to the Graveyard is activated, remove from play 1 card in your Graveyard to discard 1 less card.

Hieroglyphic Hound

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can be Advance Summoned by Releasing 1 or more monsters you control. Place a number of Rector Counters on this card equal to the number of cards Released to Advance Summon this card (max. 5). This card gains 200 ATK for each Rector Counter on it. By removing 1 Rector Counter from this card, Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower monster from your Graveyard.

Hieroglyphic Enscriptor

Effect: When this card declares an attack, it is returned to the owner's hand at the end of the Damage Step. If this card is returned to your hand by this effect, during your next turn you can Release 1 monster you control to Special Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned by this effect, your opponent randomly discards 1 card from their hand.

So anyway, I hope you enjoy :)

[spoiler=Disclaimer]

I do not own any of the artwork used, nor do I credit from it. I do not know the second artists name, the first one was by "Pamansazz" of DeviantART.

The second one is underpowered.

7/10

Depends, it gets a ride to safety, yes it does need another Release, BUT if it attacks, it is once again returned to safety. Would be good if you use in the right Deck :P. But anyway, criticism is well taken! Thanks for commenting.

I LOVE the images! :D Especially Hieroglyphic Enscriptor. :D But that one is underpowered. You should either seriously boost its ATK, or boost its ATK a little and lower its level.

OMG, I just love looking at it, though. It looks so realistic, and so AWESOME! :D If you'd switch Enscriptor's effect with Hounds, I'd have to say Enscriptor would be my favorite card you've ever done. :D

@Itachi, I don't think the first is overpowered. You're tributing monsters and getting the same amount back, If you tribute 5 monsters to summon this card (including monsters LV4+), you can only get monsters LV3- back for the monsters you tributed. And it can't be Special Summoned. And it doesn't have any other effects, other than +200 ATK for each Tributed monster, so I think it's balanced.

@Wicko, I think Enscriptor is much better now. :)

Hieroglyphic Hound (bad points):

If you don't have any level 3 or lower monsters in your Graveyard = he is useless.

If you don't have a Deck based on Level 3 or lower = going to be hard to use his effect.

If you want all 5 counters, you need 5 tributes = going to be extremely hard to use this, especially in tournament play.

So that sums up all his bad sides.

Hieroglyphic Hound (good points):

Could be used to gain high ATK points and if you need back-up you can get Level 3 or lower monsters from the Graveyard if you have them.

Yeah Itachi, it seems powerful. But really you need the perfect Deck to suit him. If you don't he is useless. You think about playing all these monsters from the Graveyard over IM, but you fail to realise these few things:

- You need Level 3 or lower monsters in the Graveyard before playing him.

- You cant use Card Destruction before he is played.

- He cannot be Special Summoned, so therefore as soon as he is in the Graveyard = game over.

- If you want the counters you need to have the number of monsters on the field, if you have a Deck based on Level 3's, that is HIGHLY going to happen.

- If you finally get him out, he could easily be targeted by "Block Attack" then switched to DEF for easy pray.

- And various other reasons.
