Atomix
Since Monday and through to Friday, all different Year 5's from Primary School are coming to my secondary School called Oldershaw. They have a timetable like this: Hall >>> Lesson 1 >>> Hall >>> Lesson 2 >>> Hall >>> Back to Primary School I have been chosen as one of the greatest students in Year 7 to take them from the bus to the hall, about a 5 minute walk. Then in the hall, we have the simpsons on and after 5 mins we have to take them to their first lesson (from one of these categorys): Sport / Science / I.T. / Music ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sport: They get to play Hockey (on the astro turf), races, basketball, rounders. Science: They get to make chemical reactions with different chemicals! Then the teacher put some gas in the bubbles and lit it. And he did it on his hand! I.T.: They get to make moving pics with this computer program called, Digiblue. They make the things that are going to move out of Playdoh. Music: Well, I haven't done this one yet but it must be about music. ------------------------------------------------------------------- After Lesson 1, the helpers must tidy up and then I (and 2 more) have to lead around 20 kids to the Hall. They will get a biscuit and water while watching the Simpsons. Then we take them to Lesson 2. The helpers will tidy up after that one too while we take them back to the hall. Then they get water and biscuits again and then the headteacher (Mr Peach) thx's them and we lead them to the busses. I don't know what we get for helping but I'll tell you on Friday ^_^ ~ Atomix

He's been chosen to miss a day of school to show the Year 5's around and help them during their "taster" classes.
