Wyhe
From where I'm standing,it's my mom who urge me to excel in studies & my dad is the approachable parent. I'm sure that your dad was just being too strict at the moment.
Silencerleader
My parents get mad at anything like a "B" or lower. One time I got 2 "B"s and my mom and dad almost killed me (not really...nope) but they did look disgusted and ashamed. They were also upset at my 4.97 GPA when it was a lot more higher...that was just a day in hell...really...

Also dude, i've seen 2 post's of your's that jip's the brit's, it's starting to make it abit racist, cas i'm british!! Back to the subject: Dude, your farther only cares, he may be stressed now, but when he sees your improvements next year, he'll regret it, anyway's, it's only a report, i'd just say "i don't care what you say..." take the punishment and lead on... but that's not for everyone, just go up to him and say..." i tried my best, and i can improve, if i do, then you'll see i'm not as c*** as you think..." and leave it at that... Luna Diviner
Levels. I'm getting my SAT's results on Monday.I thought a year 7 should get a Level 6 not 7.Because I get Level 5A's for my practice.Your father is just slightly ignorant of the way things work in this century.Your still pretty good and you'll only get better. It's not like your getting a 1C.JoC:SATs started a few years ago so you might not know it.

Spire
My dad is aslo clueless about levels. But he is always happy, no matter what I get. When I was in Year 7 no one could ever get a 7A. Heck, no-one can get that now and I'M in Year 9! I understand what you are saying..

But whatever you did you have C's and thats bad even for year 7. I think you spent more time on the internet. Next time just study and I don't really see the point of this thread.I think the answer is: Study Thread: NO point.
JesusofChaos™
Some people are happy with what they are getting, not everyone can get straight As. I myself at GCSE got 2 As 7 Bs and 3 Cs which I am happy with. Also at A-level im need CCB to get into university i want to go to at the moment i hit those targets. Setting Realistic targets is better than setting targets you can never achieve.
