Shadow4d4
Some members of this forum seem to judge by creativity...and some...are just super over-critical. I haven't made many posts(or cards), but I have already gained plenty of negative criticism. I actually started using the forum just last night, with hopes of tuning up my cards and keeping them from being too over-powered. Because anyone familiar with Yugioh knows very well, there are plenty of over-powered official cards. Just my 2 cents on this arrangement.
Silencerleader
So you are just saying that people like me (harsh rater and YCM member) should go jump in a well...get out of it...and rate with more respect because we cause pain, loss, hatred, angst, etc.? Sorry, but if you got neg. criticism...then maybe its because you have done wrong or have made mistakes...yeah...
Wyhe
Well, different people judge the cards by different ways. You'll understand this in due time...when you're more in tune with the forum.
Larxene
if people give you negative criticism, take it and improveif you just want to get all comments like "OMG THESE R TEH BEST CARDS EVAH!!!!1" then you'll never improve ~Clariex

If you (Shadow4d4) don't like it and don't take it into consideration...you will most likely collapse into the realm of noobs and the realm of worse criticism. Its not like i'm a veteran at this, I started just last night. Just voicing my opinion of this forum... Not as bad as the VG forum on myspace though, where almost ALL the regs will rip you apart if you make even the slightest mistake in information or grammar. I'm not trying to insult anyone, i'm just saying that criticism at its best points out the good as well as the bad.
Larxene
learn from the criticism you recievealthough some members here are just plain mean, most of their advice is aimed at helping you improveand if you're still having trouble, there are plenty of card making tutorials ~Clariex
Abstract [Atrocity]
If you can't take the heat, get out of the forum. If you expect us to have total respect for you and not judge harshly, you're pretty wrong... the only way to get beter is to get criticism and work on it.If you can find someone who was born perfect at this, I'll give you a cookie. EliminateHRN
Well if they do rate harsh then just take it. It actually helps you(unless they are REALLY mean and don't get you some advice) so usally harsh posts helps you.

Shadow4d4
They're telling me whats wrong, thing is I am technically a noob at this, and have next to no understanding of the difference between the correct and incorrect(any correct work is sheer luck on my part at the moment). I'm just asking to be told whats good as well as whats bad. They can be harsh if they want, I don't care about that, i'm trying to learn what i'm doing right as well so I can learn from that. A little saying of mine: "Knowing everything you did wrong is meaningless if you don't know what you did right"

Junk Raver
Which part of CC did you post your cards in? If you post cards in the Realistic Section then prepare for them to be ripped apart and carefully examined. The Realistic section is for Realistic cards only, cards with Good Grammar, Good OCG, Good Images, Well Presented, and have an acceptable Balance. If your cards have one or more flaws, expect to recieve Negative Comments. The best thing to do is, if your having card making problems, post in 'other cards' and state you want help fixing them up, it should reduce the amount of Negative Comments. Or, read card making help threads to know when your card is fully correct. To another point, sadly not all members can be bothered to post Constructive Criticism, it takes far too long especially if your card seriously Fails beyond belief. You must deal with what you get, wether helpful or not, as you chose to post the card, your also choosing to accept what comments you recieve.
