Bloodrun
Then what are you saying? By all means' date=' please try to explain it to me.[/quote'] ok, well we are complaining that we need more mods correct? but we have currently 5 inactive (they are inactive what ever way you look at it, and you know that)mods, that are currently no help to us. again i reitterate, that being a mod is a priveledge, and what that previledge comes responsibility.so what im saying, is that you strip the powers of these in active mods, and give them to more suitable people. now before you say "more suiteable" i mean by the people who are avaible >_>
The Slime Lord
Or we can just give powers to people instead of taking them away from people who already have them, then giving them to other people. That way, if it's ever necessary, we have "back up" mods that we can seek help from by e-mailing them. Whether or not they temporarily come back and is another story, but at least they're there. Danilus doesnt count, becuase that forum is now closed, and he came back once. my point exactly
The Slime Lord
Danilus does count because he was the first person we asked. Not only that, he was the one who closed that forum in the first place. And like I said before TO is on every once and a while. darkguy00000 also came back to help for about a week before he disappeared again. Again, what do we gain by stripping the power of already existing mods? I've already explained why they should keep them multiple times.

The Slime Lord
I understand that, but those people you are talking about are getting paid for doing what they do. We mods don't get paid at all. So "firing" them is pointless.

The Slime Lord
I don't control the forum. Just two sections of it. General and Intros. I wouldn't consider that payment. :/
JesusofChaos™
Agreed (with Slime Lord) Mods should stay mods, they have served the forum and should be rewarded such. If they return there services could still be required. Having backup mods always helps such as Crab going on hols

The Slime Lord
Out of the five mods mentioned before, only two can actually help with the sections I control. And I don't need help with them at the moment. When "times get rough", only Supers can really assist me with my two sections, and besides, they're all over the forum helping all the sections anyway. JesusofChaos™
New mods will be recruited irrelvent to the fact that some are inactive. YCM knows some are inactive and recruit more, there is no need to demote the inactive ones

I was explaining that I'm currently not having any problems with my sections. If I were to, Supers could just come and help out. Not only do that do that anyway, but what does that have to do with demoting current mods, most of which are Normals like myself? @Spirit Of Stardust: We're not talking about who should be a mod (overrated position actually). We're talking about current mods and whether or not they should be demoted.
