The taboo in society against nudity is because the sexual associations attached to various parts of the body that are only seen when nude. But, I find this largely pointless. Sex is important. Without it, the human race would be non-existant. Why try to hide it? Nudity doesn't bother me in the slightest, and I'd be happy go nude myself. Especially if teh ladiez are watching.... er-hem.

BMI isn't a very accurate way of measuring body fat percentage, because muscle is heavier than fat, and BMI doesn't account for that. Using a fat percentage measurer, which works by sensing how fast electrical impulses run through you (electricty goes slower through fat, but roughly the same throughout the rest of your body) is much better, as it can tell you the exact percentage of fat that your body is composed of.

 

For example, my BMI is 25.6, but my body fat percentage is a relatively low 5.7% - between 9% fat and 18% fat is the norm. That is because I work out frequently, and have decent muscle. Being on the rowing team for my school helps.
