Willieh
I just now (as in seconds ago) was tuning my guitar and I reached over one of the metallic strings and stabbed my self in the wrist by accident (pretty deep). It's bleeding a hella lot...So what should I do? So far I've wrapped it with a towel soaked in cold water. Is that good enough?
Glorious eXcess
No. Apply pressure! It may hurt a little, but the bleeding should stop faster. If you hit a tendon or w/e, yer screwed
Tkill93
How deep? Back when I was younger my uncle was tuning my strat for me and the string broke and when right through his finger. I'd suggest going to see a doctor. It may have hit an important vein, artery, if it's bleeding that much
Desu the Blue Nerd
I'm not a doctor but I think you should see one.

Rich Beast Platinum series I just did it with. Oh yeah and guys, wrapping it with a cold water towel does the same thing that it would do if I applied pressure. I'm just gonna call 911 and ask them what I should do (not send out a paramedic, I doubt it's that serious.)

Willieh
KK, guyz I called 911. The operator told me it shouldn't be to serious. They instructed me to keep it wrapped up, and if it doesn't stop bleeding apply more pressure and run it under cold water. They said if that doesn't work to call them back and ask for paramedics. It's stopped bleeding as much as it was though. So I think you can lock this thread up. I'm able to type with my other hand now. I've tied up the towel to where it will keep constant pressure applied.
