Black Rose Phoenix®
About two days ago, i discovered that The Fighting Temeraire is voted Britains best painting...The Fighting Temeraire... Which was made in britain by Joseph Mallord William Turner; 1775-1851. He made it after the war which was Britain vs France and Spain. The war was in 1805, and soon after, when Turner was 56, he made this painting. What is your favourite painting??Why??If this painting is??Why?? I'll be expecting JesusofChaos to post here too...:D~cardcreator

CinnamonStar
Turner made some awe-inspiring landscape paintings indeed, but my favourite ones are John William Waterhouse and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. They're both Pre-Raphaelite painters, which is a style I'm very fond of. I could go on and on with praising their works and numerating all my favourite paintings by them, but that would probably take too much space and patience of other people.;)

armageddon08
I always liked abstract art. There's just something about it that interrests me. Not to say that I don't like regular art, I do.
Glorious eXcess
Eww. It's...so....Oily and disgusting. Hmm. Try this:much more contemplative, really asks you what it is. Or what you like. Similar to my art. Very similar.
Black Rose Phoenix®
Well the Fighting Temeraire is sorta abstract if you think about it, it was taken from a view that happened when the Fighting Temeraire ship was broken, so... Oh and Cereal on a Stove, i wouldn't say thats a master piece of art, no offence, but i'm talking propper old fasion abstract and emotional state of the art paintings... LEGO Relativity by Andrew Lipson and Daniel Shiu: Another good source for Escher-inspired work is the movie Labrynth. Enjoy.

Black Rose Phoenix®
I think its sunrise personally... and i guess the scene would be dull just after a war...
