The article said Earth athmosphere offers enough protection to people living at ground level, but I seriously don't know about this case.. Anyway if the Solar Systems destroy the satellites you might as well say goodbye to civilization... satellites can be rebuilt civilization can deal without some satellites for a wile if satellites are done for 3-4 days then you know nothing can function properly from your mobile phone and internet to air travels and TV's. I was watching a crystal skull program and there are 13 crystal skulls in various areas. It's said they will come together on this date and put off a massive disaster. Hmmm....Just before I sign off, there have been tons of "end of the earth" things before (one of the most recent being 06.06.06) so don't put all ya money on this one:? Seriously, if you can't survive, then don't. Its a simplicity that should be taken as a step of caution. Geez, all of you stop whining and get back to life becuase the more you pay attention to it, the worse it'll be for you. So just enjoy life and how it is and deal with it! In the end, at least you'll find out that you have lived life to its fullest! No phone calls and Internet mean that the countries are almost totally robbed of communication. You liek to eat, for example, organes? Well, you will not be able to, because the air lines will be disabled and it will take long to ship them :\So, basically, we'll be robbed of communications, with this we'll be robbed of buisness and this means the world is going DOWN.If the satellites will be destroyed, it will have quite an impact, believe me... The satellite thing is only the tip of the bloody problem, if you check any other calender it as well ends on 2012 as far as i know.
