Morphing Reality

20 Years Ago, Before The Happenings of Yugi Moto, Industrial Illusions had made a deck of great cards. This deck was so powerful, none of there duelists could withstand it's great force. Pegasus decided to lock it away. But it wasn't enough. They hid it deep underground. But now, two great friends, Shawn and Hunter, have found the cards. Can the kids withstand the power, or will it end Reality itself?

Episode 1: Finding the Lost

Hunter watched Shawn digging. Hunter was very impatient. He didn't like sitting down and just wasting life. He liked going for adventure. But Shawn had convinced him to come and wait.

Hunter: Shawn, It's a waste of time. You wont find anything underground.

Shawn popped his head out from under the dirt. He brushed some off his brown hair.

Shawn: How do you know. I think there's something down there.

Hunter: Whatever.

Shawn went back into the hole. Dirt flew out and onto Hunter's face. He pushed it off and stood up.

Hunter: I'm gonna...take a walk.

Shawn: Okay, whatever.

Hunter took a few steps north, and then Shawn shouted out to him.

Shawn: Hunter, come back, quick!

Hunter turned around and ran back to Shawn. Shawn pulled a small pod out from the dirt. It was barely barely 8 inches long, and about 5 inches wide.

Hunter: What is it?

Shawn: I don't know.

Upon inspection, Shawn found a small blue button on the side of the pod. He pushed it and the pod opened. Inside was a deck of Duel Monster cards. A hologram of Pegasus flashed out.

Pegasus: If you are watching this video, then the Earth is in a state of emergency.

Shawn and Hunter exchanged looks as the hologram continued.

Pegasus: What you have is a deck full of one of a kind monsters. These monsters are Reality-type.

As Pegasus said this, Hunter whispered to himself.

Hunter: Reality-type?

Pegasus: On the bottom of the deck, there is a card explaining how to use Reality Monsters.

Shawn looked at the deck and found the exact card.

Pegasus: Please use this deck with caution. None of the test duelists at Industrial Illusions could hold it's power.

The hologram disseapered before them, and it was dark. Shawn looked through the deck.

Hunter: What did Pegasus mean, no one could "hold it's power?"

Shawn looked at the deck, and then at Hunter.

Shawn: I'm not sure, but I have a feeling...This is one heck of a deck.

Hunter and Shawn exchanged looks. Then, a kid hit Shawn on his head. Shawn turned around. A short kid with a cheap duel disk stood over Shawn, who was sitting in the grass. Behind him were three kids who seemed the same.

Kid: Hey, look. A complete dueling newbie! I'll pawn him in a second, guys.

Shawn stood up, and he towered over the child.

Hunter: C'mon Shawn, no need to duel a pushover like him.

Shawn: Oh, c'mon. I'll give him a chance.

Shawn and the kids duel disk flashed to life. And just at that moment, Shawn felt an odd sensation in his duel disk.

Kid: Let's duel, whimp!

Wh-what is this power in this deck? Shawn thought. What ever it is....It's overwhelming...Maybe it's true that none could handle it.....

Chapter 2-Reality Brawl

Before they began the duel, Shawn read the card Pegasus told him about.

Reality Monsters can only be Reality Summoned in a Reality Zone. During a duel, you have 3 Reality Zones. Reality Monsters are not affected by Spells or Traps unless the Spell/Trap has "Reality" in it's name.

Shawn and the small kid both drew their five cards. They decided to have Shawn start. Then, two voids opened in his Monster Card Zones; The Reality Zones.

Shawn: I go!

Shawn drew his card and looked over his new cards. He carefully read each effect, and remembered what Pegasus had said.

Shawn: I'll Reality Summon my monster, Reality Sorceress.

Shawn: Now, I can still Normal Summon my Gene-Warped Warwolf!

The two appeared. The Sorceress came out of the void, covered in a black aura. The wolf seemed to pounce out of the card.

Shawn: I play 2 face-down cards and end.

Kid: Is that it, you loser? He's actually pretty good.....

Hunter: Way to go, Shawn!

Kid: Hmph. I draw!

The kid explored his hand. He found only 1 monster he could summon.

Kid: I summon my Kuriboh in Attack Position!

Hunter: He's dumber than I thought....

The kid gave a quick glare at Hunter.

Kid: I play 1 face-down Trap Hole and end.

Shawn and Hunter blankly stared at the kid. They exchanged looks and broke out laughing. The kid glared at the two.

Shawn: I draw. I Reality Summon my second Reality Sorceress, and Set 1 monster. Now, Reality Sorceress, attack his Kuriboh!

Kid: I activate Trap Hole!

The trap triggered as the sorceress attacked Kuriboh. Nothing happened. The attack continued and Kuriboh was destroyed.

Kid: Wha--?

Shawn: You activate a Trap Hole when I summon a monster, newbie. Now, Gene Warped Warwolf and Reality Sorcress, ATTACK THAT CHUMP!

Hunter did the math. Gene Warped Warwolf had 2000 Attack. With Sorceress' effect, she gains 500. 2400 + 2000 was 4400, which meant...

Hunter: Shawn wins! Yahoo!

Shawn and Hunter give eachother a high five, while the kids groupies have a laughing fit at the child's stupidity.

Kid: No way! Do over! I'm supposed to win!

The kid began ranting and complaining. Hunter and Shawn ignored the child and began walking home.

Meanwhile, a huge force was at work. It was watching Shawn carefully. A dark voice began to speak.

It's only a matter of time before the power of Reality overcomes him. And the cards will be mine.

The thunderous voice echoed.

And when I have them, the universe will be in the palm of my hand.

The tone was left hanging in the air. It began to laugh, a dark, mechivious laugh. And it died down. And silence was dominant...for now.
