100 or so songs? THat's nothin. My computer fired after Katrina. I lost ALL my songs' date=' totaling [b']527,000[/b]. But yes, you have my sympathy. That must suck.

-.-" Be real. It would take you a week to a few weeks just to COUNT to 527,000, much less buy that many songs, or download that many songs.

 

If you were speaking of something different that amount of songs lost, sorry for my stupidity.

ooc: Sorry, mis type. Meant 1000. I'm kinda tired so I'm not focused. And yes, before Katrina, I had downloaded 527,000 songs. I'm talking about a year or two before Katrina. So yeah. It took me SOOO freakin long to get them, and yes I lost them all.

Thats the thing. I listen to more than one type of music. Old School' date=' Rock, Metal, Rap, Gospel, Country, Opera, Classic, R&B, and many others. Anime music and television and cartoon theme songs included. Think about it.

and several other genres and I have barely over 2k songs.

Ok, your point? You may not know as many artists as I do? ANd there's several types of Rap and Rock and others. Most of that list is metal anyway, so what are you trying to prove. Old Schoo includes my afro heritage oldschool, rock oldschool, gospel oldschool, and more. Keep thinking.

I'd believe there's been over 500'000 bands existant.

I'd doubt that someone could own at least a song from each, but eh.

Personally, the most songs I've ever lost is about 40, only because I couldn't Shift+highlight for the life of me.

Also, the amount of songs some bands can produce is inane. (<-- For the stupid, inane is not a typo.)

I have like, 253 Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers songs.

And I don't even like them. =/.

So yeah, it all depends on what you're open to, and based on the amount of times musics been around..

527'000 songs seems possible, although, stupid.

Well, yeah it was stupid. I first heard in a movie. I don't recall which, but the minute I got home, I started downloading. My computer would crash frequently, so I made as many cd's as possible. Unfortunately, they got lost in Katrina as well, XD

 

Ah well, life goes on. And Static, don't download more than 10k songs if you know what's good for you.

If you want me to believe you take a screen shot of the song list. If I see 527,000 songs I will believe you.

 

If you have Itunes just take a screen shot of the top. Until i have proof, I won't believe you.

I find it much easier to say K rather than thousand.

 

 

Lol I don't know how you could possibly recover those songs. Unless you had a time portal in which you could stop yourself from ever doing anything to make you lose them.
