[spoiler=Chapter 1 "Evasa's Choice"]

Lighting blazes across the skies. Dark Clouds cover an even darker moon. When it seemed as though it were a dull night, a voice rang out, "You've forced my hand Seto!"

There were two of them, one wearing a red shirt and a blue jacket to cover it. He was also wearing tight blue jeans. The other was a familiar face among Duel Monsters, Seto Kaiba.

The field was a rough one. On one side there was nothing but a triggered Trap Card, Sakuretsu Armor. On Seto's side, there were three dragons, Blue-Eyes White Dragons! Kaiba had just attacked and his foe activated the trap. A samurai appearred from the Trap and lunged towards a dragon; a slash then the dragon had been cut down and destroyed.

The voice was from Seto's foe. He envied the dragons in Kaiba's Deck, but as much as he didn't want to he had to get them out of the way, the duel was at stake.

"Evasa, don't get your hopes up! There are still two dragons left! Attack!" Immediately, rays of light had shone from the mouths of these mighty dragons. The powerful rays had struck Evasa directly! And such a blow had knocked him on his back.

"And now its my turn!" Evasa drew his card, "Upstart Goblin! I draw-"

Kaiba interupted, "One card and I gain 1000 Life Points. I hope its worth it."

Evasa-1000

Kaiba-5500

"Well, its not much, but its something, "he thought to himself. "I set a monster in defence. That's my turn."

Kaiba had drawn his card, "This is your end!"

He drew his card with force and activated his facedown card, "Call of the Haunted! You ought to tremble. My Blue-Eyes is returning!" And from the earth rose the mighty dragon which was once slain. "And I'm not done yet, I activate my Nobleman of Crossout!" From which a knight in shining armor came out, drew his weapon, and slew the only monster that gaurded Evasa's Life Points.

"I'm open!" cried the hopeless duelist.

"Yeah, but I wont attack with just one of my dragons. I'm gonna use all three! Polymerization!!"

As he spoke it, the dragons flew together into themselves and a flash was seen! Once the light had vanashed, an even mightier dragon rose, one with the three heads of these dragons!! The three-headed dragon just hovered over the field, waiting for the command to strike. Evasa, waiting hopelessly for the loss.

"Now face the power of my majestic dragon! Attack!!" The rays of light once again shone from the dragons' mouths. From three different mouths they joined into one big ray of light which struck Evasa head on! Evasa could do nothing but take the blow; he had lost. He fell to his knees in shame.

Evasa-0

Kaiba-5500

The image of the hope-shattering dragon had faded away. Kaiba turned to a nearby table. "Evasa, stand up. Don't shame yourself." Hearing the command of the victor, he could do nothing but stand. Kaiba, when at the table, grabbed a backback and a red, velcro pack that seemed to contain something.

"Evasa," by this time his head was facing the floor in shame of his loss, "you may have lost the duel," Kaiba put the red pack in his pocket and held the backpack as a display item in both hands, "but you now have the choice to gain so much more."

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Kaiba and Evasa had been friends since Yugi had risen as the duelist. He wasn't much more than a 12 year old boy who knew nothing about the game.

They met in a kind of extraordinary way: Somehow, Evasa had snuck around the security near Kaiba's office.

"Kaiba!!" cried the very eager child.

Security had just shown up to drag him outside. Evasa was dragging and kicking his feet crying out, "No!"

A soft, subtle voice had rang from Kaiba's seat, "Let the boy go."

"What?" Security was suprised! Kaiba had never cared for any trespasser in his office before, what made this runt any different?

"I said, 'Let... Him... Go.'"

Without further question, they release the child. "Now, who are you and what do you want here?"

"I.. I.. I'm Evasa Xusat!"

"And? What do you want?"

"I don't.. I don't know how to play."

"You mean duel?"

The boy's face was facing the floor, in shame of the stupidity of the reason of his trespass. Kaiba had turned his chair to see the curious, eager 12 year old.

"Can you teach me?"

Now, standing before this aspiring duelist, Kaiba had the backpack in his hands, presenting them to Evasa.

"When I met you, you annoyed me, but there was something that I couldn't understand. There was something in your eyes, how you looked at me, that reminded me of the only one who even dared to face me, Yugi Moto. I, still to this day, cannot explain this, but I do know that this has to do with greatness."

"But I lost!" complained Evasa.

"And that's what this is about: Four years ago, you knew nothing of this "game." And even partway through it, you gave up! But since you've returned last year, you've proven me correct: you have passion for this game."

"Then what's this choice?"

"I've asked your family and friends and they all agree. Here is your choice: take this bag and leave your family and friends for 3 months. And in this time, you will face many many duelists to strengthen you. When you return home, you will be changed, and when you return you will face the ultimate test. Orr, reject this bag and live everyday as your normal self, no more dueling leasons. Take it now, or leave it now."

"I... I..." Evasa didn't know what to say. He knew that if he didn't, he had let down his friend and mentor, Kaiba, and just be an ametuer duelist!

"Evasa Xusat!"

"Ok!" he rushed out, "I'll go."

Kaiba smiled, "You'll love it. Here, take this." He handed him the backpack. "Don't open this until your told otherwise."

"What's this?" Evasa questioned.

"Everything you need. And here," he reached for the velcro pack, "This too."

"Ok? But what now?"

"The bus will be here to get you in the morning. You'll learn it then." Kaiba smile and chuckled, "I'll see you in 3 months!"

Chapter End

[spoiler=Chapter 2 "A Duel Disk and Decks of Grey?"]

It was before the sun had shone in the morning when Evasa had woken up. He took his shower, and for every time a drop of water fell from the shower head he thought a new thought, each with the same idea: What are the next three months going to to be like?

Once he had gotten dressed he headed over for Kaiba's. Once there, he notice that it was locked, so he just sat on the sidewalk remembering the bus that Kaiba mentioned.

It took a few hours but the bus had shown up. When the doors opened up, Evasa saw a man at the wheel. This was a fairly big man with black hair and green eyes. He wore a brown shirt with brown pants and big brown boots.

"So," Evasa started, "I see you like brown."

"Take your seat," said a commanding and deep growl from this big man.

"Ok," Evasa responded with a fearful voice. "Where am I going?"

"You don't need to know anything yet," The door was shut; the bus started off. "My name is Browarod. So far, thats all you need to know."

Evasa looked out the window, hoping that if he didn't like where he was headed he could remember the route back.

"Have you opened that backpack yet?" asked Browarod.

"No, should I have?"

"No."

For the longest time, no one said a word. There were four, in all, on this bus. Evasa sat in the front of the bus, a boy who looked like he just hit adolesence sitting in the middle, a girl who sat near the rear of the bus, and Browarod. They had been on that bus for all day, so long that they had slipped off to sleep, all but Browarod.

It was late in the night when Evasa finally woke. "Hey, kids, get up!" They were in the middle of No-Where!! All that they could see was this bus, a plane, and dirt!

"You three will be leacing the bus and getting on this plane to reach your destination. It will take but 2 hours. If I were you, I'd spend this time getting to know your decks and each other, you will be spending the next three months together." Browarod then left us there with the pilot and drove the bus, possibly, back to the point of its origin.

"Well," Evasa turned to the one who had started, "My name is Jupiro. Don't bother me."

"What? Don't bother you? What's your problem? You don't even know me!" Evasa began to complain against him.

"Don't even bother. He won't listen to us. Hi, my name is Denae Laroo. My friends at home call me RooRoo." She smiled and extended her hand to shake Evasa's.

"Well, I'm Evasa Xusat!" He, too, had smiled, "I don't know what were doin' here, but it's nice to meet you!"

"Hey! Stop lolly gaggin' out here and get into this **** plane! I'm headed out!" They all ran towards this plane and took there seats inside.

While inside, Evasa sat his backpack down next to him, and for some reason, so did the other two. "They must be on the same mission," thought Evasa.

"Hey," the pilot just walked in, "I just got word, open your packs if you wanna."

Each had their own backpacks and different velcro packs. Denae opened her pack first, "Wow! He gave me a Duel Disk! A Nice one!" the one she had pulled out of her pack was a yellow looking one, nice, unscratched, an apperently unused.

"This is nice," responded Jupiro once he saw his suprise. "A better looking Duel Disk." He pulled out a black copy of the one which resembled Kaiba's! "This is gonna be great!"

"What about you Evasa?" asked Laroo.

"Urrmm.. ok!" He slipped onto the floor trying to open up his bag, he was nervous that he wasn't going to get anything as nice as those. In fact, he was expecting a sign that said "Go Home!"

"Oh my-" He pulled out something far better than what he would ever dream of, a golden Duel Disk! Then, the envy of the others, he opened up his velcro pack.

"Wait a moment! Are those cards... Grey?"

"Yea.. the boarders are grey!"

"So are my cards..?"

"Are they meant to be like that?"

______________________________________________________________________

It took awhile before they realized that these cards were meant to have Grey borders. They reasoned with each other that they must be another form of cards like Synchro were.

The cards were very unique. They, of course, had grey borders, and for some reason they also had no name! These cards said, where it would say "Fusion" or "Synchro", it said, instead, "Morph".

And to add to their confusion, there were also different Spell cards!! These cards had an icon, like Continuous Spells and Equip Spells, but the icon was so different than anything that they've ever seen on a card.

Each Spell card said somewhere in its effect the words "Transformational Summon..."

Once they had landed on the island, they gathered their things together, confusion still fresh on their minds, took their steps out of the plane. Once out, they saw Browarod.

"What? How did you beat us here?" demanded Jupiro.

"How many times do I have to tell you kids? You don't need to know about it!"

"Well, then what are you doing here?" asked the curious Evasa.

"Im gonna seperate you three. Jupiro," the big man had faced towards Jupiro and pointed towards the southern side of the island, "start walking that way."

"Why?"

"Don't you ask me why. Just do it."

The submissive Jupiro had started his journey south.

"And Laroo," the eager girl jumped at his commanding voice, "West."

"Kay kay!" She responed with a smile and a jump in her walk.

"What about me?" asked the lonely Evasa.

"We," he started turning to face this boy, "Kid, we duel."

Alright the field part. In the Field there should be Kaiba side : 2 blue eyes, face down card, Blue eyes in grave, polymerization in his hand and nobleman of crossout in his hand and he has 4500.

Evasa SHOULD HAVE no hand (he hasnt drawn yet in the field and should not have upstat yet), he should have 1000 LP, instead of the fan thingy (dont no the card) in his graveyard he should have Sakuretsu Armor on the top of his grave.

there i spotted it YAY
