You can already do this. It's called RPG Maker XP... But you can't send stuff to X-Box Live.

ROM Hacking is easier then Game Developement' date=' though.

True, but ROM Hacking has its limitations. To do what he wants only works with Game Development.

Its too general of an idea. The hardware and memory requirements would never be able to support a game like that. Infinite possibilities of pokemon, pokeballs, etc. Infinite Pokedexes to try and keep track of all of them?

I would support an online version of pokemon played through xbox live or WiFi on the Wii (most likely the wii as nintendo has the copyrights to pokemon.

Leave the original 493 with room for updates and upgrades as new versions of Pokemon and new pokemon come out. You can purchase the upgrade online that would have any additional regions, towns, gyms, pokemon, items, etc. With that kind of product, the game would be endless and limitless without having to waste memory space, processing power, or clog up the internet (which something of that magnitude most definitely would do).

Its a good idea, but way too broad. Simplify it down to today's abilities. One main game and upgrades. Maybe a pokemon creator program added onto it, but nothing that could be played with on the actual server.

If you want more options for pokeballs and items, maybe suggest a decorative program. One where after you reach a certain point you can unlock it and decorate your pokedex, pokeballs, backpack, badge case, etc.

Why don't they even try a life based game. I'd think it would be most sutible for the Wii. Where you make what you look like and walk around as a normal sized person not a miget lol

AND Maybe fight pokemon as you do in brawl but i don't think that would go over well with fans ;/

I would like this game very much to be made but... it's not gonna happen. Why? Because it'll mean the destruction of the Pokemon franchise. Think about it. If people could make their own pokemon games, why the heck would they buy other pokemon games?

I'm sorry, I doubt Nintendo would consider it, the concept's not that new, etc, etc.

And I doubt a `petition' would work, since petitions hardly ever work. Especially if it's just a bunch of internet forumers.
