[Seth Graystone]

Hey y'all, this is is my first fanfic I'm going to post here. It's partly going to be based off of an old story I had posted on a different site, but it will be changed in places.

 

[spoiler=Characters]

 

Seth Graystone: A 14 year old boy with dirty blonde hair. He uses a E-Hero Deck and is very cocky.

 

Selena: A 14 year old girl and user of a Plant/Fairy deck. Andrew and Seth both like her, but she despises Andrew.

 

Andrew: Seth's rival and user of a Dark World Deck. He and Seth used to be best friends, before Andrew's jealousy sparked their rivalry.

 

Alex: Seth's second rival who wields a Dark World Deck, his rivalry with Seth is more friendly, and he actually respects Seth's skills.

 

Cosmo: A young girl from the World of De-Men who was kidnapped by the De-Men. She escaped and stole their ultimate weapons: the Wicked Cards. She then joined Seth's group to help him defeat the De-Men.

 

De-Man King: The lord of Demons and De-Men. He serves as the heroes' main villain, however,they do not know his true identity, which is hidden beneath his De-Man Mask.

 

 

Episode One: The First De-Man!

 

The crowd roared through the stadium as they watched the end of the duel, where two boys stood with white Duel Disks attached to their arms. One had hair the color of fire, spiked in every direction and wore an orange jacket, black shirt, navy pants, and brown boots.

“Game over, buddy! Now I’ll attack you directly with my Wildheart!” shouted one boy as a large jungle man pulled out a sword and sliced the other boy, who wore a grey t-shirt, black pants, glasses, and had grey hair.

A large screen attached to the ceiling flashed blue and yellow words spread across the screen.

Seth: 1200

Lucas: 0000

The winner is Seth!

 

“As if there was any doubt!” Seth bragged as he walked into the back of the arena, where duelists would wait for their turn.

When he arrived at the back, he saw his small group of friends. One was a brown haired boy dressed in a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. The other was a girl dressed in a purple dress that ended at her knees.

“Don’t get cocky Seth. Remember, your opponent’s the past champion for the past two years,” the brown haired boy pointed out as Seth just laughed.

“I’ll be able to handle him. You should have more faith in me than that, Wade,” Seth said, pulling out a small soda bottle, waiting for his final duel.

 

Lucas walked outside, with his hands in his pockets and his head staring at the ground, when it started raining all over him.

“I can’t believe my luck. Why won’t Lady Luck cut me a break? I’d sell my soul for dueling skills!” he moped as he shouted into the heavens, not noticing the darkness circling around him.

“Looks like we can reach an agreement, young Lucas,” said a gruff voice as the darkness swallowed Lucas.

“Who are you, and where am I?” he exclaimed as he noticed he was floating in a large area of darkness.

“If you wear this mask, you shall take your revenge against those who have shunned and mocked you,” said the voice as the darkness glowed purple and hardened into a mask shaped like an ape’s face, but with a rhino’s horn.

“Why’d you give me this mask?” Lucas asked as the darkness started to fade, until it completely disappeared, leaving a confused Lucas standing on top of the Duel Dome, holding the mask in his hand.

“Put me on your face, and you’ll be fueled with unimaginable power,” growled a voice that seemed to come from the mask.

“I might just be able to use this mask to my advantage. When I get revenge, I need to thank that thing that gave me this mask,” Lucas said with an evil smile on his face before he let out a loud cackle.

 

“The final duel is about to start. Will the two…” started the voice of the Duel Dome’s owner, and the father of Selena, Seth’s second friend, Connor Dupree, but he was interrupted by a loud wailing sound, before Lucas’s voice boomed out of the PA System.

“Attention all duelists. This is your Duel King, Lucas speaking. Anybody who is on the grounds of this Arena at this time has forfeited their soul to the great and mighty Ballistic Beast: Sugeru!” his voice cackled as the earth shook, before loud clangs of metal were heard.

Screams and shouts were heard from the Duel Stage, and people were heard stomping around.

“C’mon, let’s see what’s happened!” Seth ordered as he, Wade, and Selena stormed out of the Waiting Room, only to step into pure chaos.

People were running around everywhere, attempting to break the gates that now blocked the entrance, while Lucas floated in the center of the arena.

“Lucas, let everyone leave already!” Seth ordered as Lucas floated closer to the ground.

“Only if you can defeat me in a duel that isn’t rigged!” Lucas said as Sugeru’s Mask floated next t o him.

“That match wasn’t rigged, you idiot!” Seth snapped as he jumped onto the Duel Platform.

“Then prove it, human,” Sugeru growled as Lucas grabbed the mask and set it onto his face, changing his entire shape.

His face and the mask merged, and his hair turned silver. Silver fur spread all over his body, and a demonic Duel Disk appeared on his left arm.

“I’m free from that mask! With this child’s body, I’ll start the Reign of De-Men!” Sugeru growled as he pounded his chest wildly.

“Whoa, didn’t see that coming,” Seth said as he activated his Duel Disk, ready to fight the Ballistic Beast.

“Let’s get this party started!” Sugeru growled as he started to stomp away and inserted a deck into his Duel Disk.

“Duel!” they both shouted as their Duel Disks hit the 4000 LP mark.

“I’m going first! I Draw a card and summon Elemental Hero Avian, and I’ll Set two face downs,” Seth said as a large winged-man appeared, hovering above the field.

“My turn! Now I Set two cards and activate the Heavy Storm Spell Card!” Sugeru said as a large storm blew through the arena, destroying all of the face-down Traps/Spell cards.

“Are you dumb or something? You just destroyed your own face-down cards!” Seth pointed out as two large golden snakes appeared from the ground.

“I know, and that activate my two Statue of the Wicked Trap Cards! Now I can sacrifice them to summon my Ballistic Beast: Sugeru!” Sugeru growled as a monster that looked exactly like him appeared, only without Lucas’s clothes and the Duel Disk.

Ballistic Beast Sugeru

ATK: 3000/DEF: 2700

This card cannot be Special Summoned. Whenever this card destroys a Monster in DEF Position whose DEF is lower than this card’s ATK, deduct the difference from your opponent’s Life Points.

 

“You summoned yourself?” Seth asked as the monster growled and started to stomp around.

“Yes, everyone in the De-Man Army has a card with their soul in it. It serves as a backup soul in case of emergencies,” Sugeru explained.

“Now, it’s feeding time! My Sugeru will destroy your Avian!” Sugeru shouted as his monster counterpart stomped forward and stabbed through Avian’s chest with his rhino horn.

 

Seth: 2000 Life Points

Sugeru: 4000 Life Points

 

“My turn! I activate Polymerization to fuse the Elemental Heroes Bubbleman and Clayman in my hand to create Elemental Hero Mudball Man in DEF Mode!” Seth said as a large rock man with Bubbleman’s helmet.

“Now it’s my turn! You may have stalled my attacks, but you won’t win! I activate the Tremendous Fire Spell Card!” Sugeru growled as flames spread across the field and burned both Sugeru and Seth.

 

Seth: 1000 Life Points

Sugeru: 3500 Life Points

 

“Now I activate Hinotama! Say bye-bye to 500 of your Life Points!” Sugeru growled as fireballs fell and hit Seth.

 

Seth: 500 Life Points

Sugeru: 3500 Life Points

 

“That’s enough torture for one turn, kid,” Sugeru growled as Seth drew a card.

“I activate Pot of Greed! I’ll draw two cards from my deck, and now my plan starts! I activate Dian Keto the Cure Master! Seth said as an old lady appeared and shot a sphere of light at Seth.

 

Seth: 1500 Life Points

Sugeru: 3500 Lie Points

 

“Now, I activate my Mausoleum of the Emperor Field Spell! Now, I can give up 1000 points and my Mudball Man to summon Elemental Hero Neos! Now, I give him the Axe of Despair to increase his Attack Points to 3500!” Seth said as the arena changed to that of a mausoleum, with statues hidden beneath the floor. One of the statues rose and shattered into pieces, while Mudball Man did the same, being replaced by a large white creature with an axe in his hand.

“Now, destroy his Sugeru!” Seth ordered as Neos sliced the Sugeru Monster in two.

 

Sugeru: 3000 Life Points

Seth: 500 Life Points

 

“You’d better make this turn good, because it’ll be your last!” Seth said as Sugeru drew a card.

“I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Sugeru, but in DEF Mode,’ Sugeru said as he revived his monster counterpart, ending his turn.

“Now, it’s my turn! I summon Elemental Hero Wildheart and activate the Wild Half Spell Card! Now, I Special Summon a Half Token to your side of the field in ATK Mode. It has half of Sugeru’s ATK and DEF, but all of its stats,” Seth said as Wildheart appeared and a wolf-like version of Sugeru appeared on Sugeru’s side of the field.

“Now, Neos will destroy the Half Token and Wildheart will end it!” Seth said as Neos sliced the Half Token in two.

“No, this is almost exactly how I lost last time!” Lucas thought as he howled in pain when Wildheart slashed him.

 

Sugeru: 0000 Life Points

Seth: 500 Life Points

 

Sugeru fell to the ground and glowed purple before he exploded. When the smoke cleared, a wounded Lucas was lying unconscious and Sugeru’s Mask, which was split in two, was beside him.

“I can’t believe I lost again. So much for that ‘power’ he gave me,” Lucas said before Seth, pulled him onto his feet.

“Who’s this guy you’re talking about?” Seth asked as Lucas grinned.

“Like I’d ever tell you,” he said before he suddenly disappeared in purple-black flames.

“What in the…?” Seth asked as he noticed that the gates blocking the entrance disappeared, and people either made a run out the front door, or went back to their seats.

“Well, we’ll have our final duel in a few hours, so duelists, get ready!” Mr. Dupree said over the PA as Seth, Selena, and Wade headed into the back room.

 

Kind of ironic how the boy that lost to Wildheart lost to Wildheart again, huh? Well, next time Seth will face one of his toughest enemies: his own cousin! Read and review!
