Neon Genesis Evangelion

There are only a handful of shows that, if you are even mildly interested in anime, you have to watch. Eva is one of those shows. You don't have to like it, but you have to watch it. It's that important.

On a more technical note, I watched episodes 1-24, then End of Evangelion, then 25-26. But you can watch all the episodes then EoE. It doesn't make that much of a difference.

On a more awesome note, Re-Take is the best doujin I've ever read. But you shouldn't touch it unless you finish the main line first. Oh, and it also has a fair amount of sex. Re-Take, not NGE.

I love Eva. Or at least from what I saw. I was watching it on a site, and I got up to about episode 9 before the site was reformatted and stuff. Because of that, I can't watch it there. (Something to do with me using a Mac I guess). I've been looking for other sites to watch it on, but I can't find it anywhere.

YouTube says hi. XD

I saw the first part of Rebuild today. I gotta say, it made the series look a lot better.

Do I smell an Evangelion topic without the number one fan lurking? Allow to to fix this.

Evangelion, to say the least is my favorite anime. I own the platinum box set (Episodes 1-26 plus the directors cuts), Evangelion Death & Rebirth, and the End of Evangelion, I own most of the main manga series (1-10), I own all 6 'Angelic Days' manga, I have an Evangelion back pack, one of my PS3 themes is Evangelion, my first card set was dedicated to Evangelion, I can recite the majority of the series from heart, and I even got my mom into the anime.

Now, shall we discuss more?

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention I've watched the first of the four new Eva movies, You Are [Not] Alone. It was often, though partially rushed at the start.

Obviously you're going to say yes, but would you recommend the platinum box set if I happen to have about $60 or so left in birthday money? I just watched some Eva at my friend's house. I already knew it was awesome, but yeah, it's still awesome. Right now, I can't decide whether or not to get that, the Code Geass Collector's Edition thing that's coming out in about a week, or Tales of Vesperia which is coming out at the end of August.
