Death Note Investigation Squadron

Investigation 1- Hotel Murder

 

 

Tykoio looks at the Hotel Manager. “We are here.” The Hotel Manager looked pleased. “Thank you, please come with me.” The Group follows the Hotel Manager.

 

Zero came and asked,” What are the causes of the death?” Dustin blurts out. “A murderer. DUH. Elbowing Zero. Tykoio calmly states. “ Zero, it was a murder, remember?” As they were walking FM6 said. “And the Murder Weapons?”. Zero finally states. “That made no sense, I said causes of the death.”

 

“Oh yeah, what were they?” The Manager stops and sighs. “Most were by gun, and the rest, well we never found the bodies.” He continues walking. “So….. are you sure that ALL of them are dead?” FM6 asks. “No, no we are not.” The Manager stops once again. “Here is your room.” Dustin says, “Good, now I can set up our little base.” Dustin gets out Laptops and other objects from his sack. “I’m going to carry around this Thermal Cam while we are investigating.”

 

FM6 looks surprised. “So the Killer is in the building?”The Manager states. “Yes he is.”

Tykoio asks. “But why didn’t he escape?” “Well, if he did, he would be captured.” “Ok I think that is enough information for now.” The Manager left the room.

Meanwhile, Dustin found a body heat signature in a room. It was unlocked, so he entered. There was no body, but blood stains and a trace of a body being there on the cam. He bottled the blood and walked back to the room. "Okay. I got some blood, so can someone identify the DNA?" Dustin said, walking back in.

Zero comments. “Well you’re the one with the Technology.” Tykoio says. “Well, I can.” Tykoio puts the Blood Samples into a tube on his Computer. “Well it seems the name of the particular victim is Jason Holkso. Poor Fellow.” While this was going on we heard a strange noise in the hall. “The Murderer is better than we thought. Usually we could tell. I need to check the bodies.” “…..And the bullets…”

Dustin boots up his computer. I’ll search up this Jason Guy.” The Results appear. “It says he was the Vice-President of the design for Microsoft, and he made over $43,000,000 a year.” Dustin explains to the group. “And I found the blood in room 4-Y.” He kept track of this on Microsoft Word. Zero asks. “Do you have any info on when he came and when he left?”

 

Dustin pulls up the Hotel Schedule. “Jason was supposed to leave yesterday and he came a week ago.” Dustin stands up. “I’m going to go see the Hotel Manager.” Tykoio also stands up. “I’ll come also, I’ve got a few questions for him.” Zero also tagged along. Dustin, Tykoio, and Zero get to the Managers Office. Dustin opens the door. “Holy S***!” The Manager was dead. Zero just kept calm. Tykoio notices a note on the desk.

"Hey Dustin, can you do a Fingerrpint analysis on this letter?"

“Dustin, could you do a Fingerprint scan on this?” "No problem!" Dustin said. He ran back to the room. He came back with his laptop. He entered it. "While I do this, look for a bullet." Dustin said. The computer processed. "The computer didn't find a matching fingerprint." Dustin said, closing the laptop. "But I do have an idea."

 

“And what is that?” Tykoio wonders. "Well, He kills everyday. We set up cams and audio in every room with a resident, and we'll find him on tape." Dustin explained. "What do you think?"

“Good idea, lets each have a laptop with a camera view on it, so if he comes by, we could see him.”

Zero starts to think. “This is too easy.”

"This is fishy. This case seems to easy." Dustin thought, setting up a camera in one of the rooms. This was the second camera he set up, and the room resident wasn't there. He heard foot steps. He looked into the hallway, and it was just the resident. "Sir, I'm with DNIS." Dustin said, showing his badge. He explained, and the resident seemed fine. He set up the other cameras and went back to the room. The clock said 9:32 PM.

FM6 said. “9:34, that’s a bit late.”

Dustin suggest that we should now monitor the computers for any “Suspicious” activity. Zero notices something on his camera. “Zero, what the hell is that on your computer?” Dustin said standing over Zero’s shoulder. FM6 notices. “Huh... WHAT IS THAT?!!?!” Zero calmly says. “A man covered in blood, no wounds, obviously the murderer.” Zero grabs his gun. “Lets go.”

As they left, they heard a gunshot. Dustin rushes to the room. “DAMN!” The woman was already dead. At he corner of his eye, he saw a note.

 

Too Late DNIS! Hehehe. You’ll never stop me! Your puny forces are no match for me!

 

As that was happening, Zero moved on to the Lobby. There were Gunshots.

FM6 cries. “Zero!”

FM6 reaches the lobby. Zero asks, “Something wrong?”

The killer is dead on the ground. “No..” "That wasn't the killer." Dustin said. He took out both letters. "This one from that room has sloppier handwriting. He knew we were ready." Dustin said. He kicked the wall. FM6 says. “You killed a innocent.” Tykoio was asleep and notices everyone was gone with their guns. Tykoio decides to pick up his and head along with the group.
