DGoser
Constructive criticism only please; try posting a suggestion even if you like it. Definitely post a suggestion if you don't like it. More to come if this is successful. Card Lore: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, pay half your Life Points or send this card to the Graveyard. This card's ATK cannot be increased. This card's ATK is equal to the last amount of Life Points paid for the effect of this card. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, select and Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type Monster except "Life-Absorbing Flesh Tower" from either player's Graveyard. I cannot accept credit for any of my art; here's a link to where I found this picture: http://www.mindrelease.net/files.php?fid=360 FINAL NOTES: My beef with this card is the long text. PS: OMG is that a ZOMBIE MASTER at the BOTTOM!? :P EDIT: Adding this info here because I think too many people are missing my post:I hope future posters will take some time to appreciate the full potential of this card as it relates to the TCG. Isn't that the idea of this forum anyway? This card, if anything, might be OVERPOWERED. I made it an Earth monster to limit its splash in DARK decks, and also made it a tribute monster so it can't be automatically slapped down without a cost. Think about it: This card is a bombshell in Zombie decks. There are about a million and one ways to search it, two million and one ways to Special Summon it, and about three million and one things you can do with it when it hits the field. A good duelist can play fast enough to pull the Tower out at around 3000-4000 ATK, which can mean END in a typical Zombie swarm deck. Or alternatively, bring it out and skip the Life Point payment to swap it for an Il Blud in your Graveyard. Got a Zombie Master out? Discard the Tower to pull out two Zombies (1 for ZM, 1 for Tower, if I understand the rule mechanics correctly in this case). You could even pull out the Tower with Zombie Master's effect to whallop your opponent. If you're running Undead World, the Tower's final effect virtually becomes a Monster Reborn... etc. If you didn't notice, this card also splashes with Foolish Burial, Card Trooper, etc. Outside of Zombie Decks, run the tower in a Rat Box. Run a Card Trooper and some Lilys for massive damage... oh! and look! The Tower slips under the CCV radar if it's in your hand. I'm sure there's plenty of other things I'm forgetting. Give this card a second chance please.
Luna Lovegood
Way underpowered. But i like it
Spire
It's not bad. 7/10.
DrizzNip
dude its just a tower and a dumb atk
nxtium
I think it's really interesting. On the first turn you summon it, you could have 8000 life points (I think), so that would be 4000 ATK. But then it halves, to 2000, 1000, 500, etc... So, when you want to stop, you just destroy it. It has a unique effect. Also, the picture could be a little more terrifying. I give it an 8/10. DGoser
Wow, I gotta say this is not really what I expected... but thanks for the support from positive posters, plus the later posts were a little better: @ Funk*Lord, Future Emperor, YCM dude: Please read the bottom of this post. @punkinbut: What a great contribution! I can only imagine that your ideas are well-respected on these forums. @nxtium, vang911: Thanks for exploring this card a little more, and please read the bottom of this post. Death Metal
Interesting card. The effect is unique in the way that after you put work into it by paying Life Points it gets taken away from you anyways. But the thing is that I can tell if it's underpowered or overpowered...kinda both if that makes any sense :? Interesting card can't wait to see more. TotalObelisk
Very good in a zombie deck...Also if you have Cost down, Double Attack and Quick Attack you've got an FTK without even giving your opponent a turn.
╬「Selatcia」╬
Maybe work on the effect. Not a big fan of the pic.Not too bad of an idea.
DGoser
The picture is not what's important, what would you change about the effect?
NineteenHundred
Woah, quite interesting. Imagine if you played "Solemn Wishes" on your very first turn, waited 5 turns, then played that card to get 5,750 ATK then the damage to your opponent`s life points would be massive. Xemba
Good Card. The beatstick option is situational but the other effect is okay for zombies. Waste your normal summon and yank out a zombie from the grave. There are better options than that atm though for a zombie deck.
DGoser
People for chrissake read my full post! This card has so much more potential than "wasting your Normal Summon". I would be worried about this card being a powerhouse and I don't think you guys are actually considering the potential for damage here. You act like you don't even play the TCG. YuugiCM
THis is a pretty cool card nice effect. I think it wouldn't be overpowered if it was a 7 star or higher monster.

DGoser
Thanks guys, and I actually think boosting it to a 2-Tribute Monster might be a good idea.
Guest Welche
I dont, I mean, it costs you so many points, although, I though of a card that would totaly bust it. ENERGY ABSORBING MONOLITH! u gain 4000LP then, if you have another one 2000 , on the other hand, its ATK would be pitiful!
Max.
7.5/
MILSS
Good for first card.
DGoser
Energy-Absorbing Monolith would do nothing for this card. Monolith has to be chained to an opponent's effect, and it has to be inflicted damage, not a cost. Last two posters please elaborate or don't bother.
