Averex8
This is my first original creation seeing as all my other cards were based on the Metroid series. I think I did pretty good. I posted the effect below for those who might have trouble reading the card. Update: Its been a while since I posted here and I decided to make some changes to this card. I think this version is more balanced. Tell me what you think. *I added a supporting spell card for nephthys and ultima. This card represents the healing abilities of a phoenix's tears. Ultima-The Phoenix GodEffect:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by it's own effect or by Releasing 1 "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" on your side of the field to the Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by a card effect, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard during your next Standby Phase. If you Special Summon this card in this way, destroy all cards on the field. Healing TearsEffect:Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can gain 1000 Life Points for each face-up "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" and "Ultima-The Phoenix God" on your side of the field. Bobbyman46
It's Kinda like a super awesome Light and Darkness dragon. Um... it's a little too easy to clear your opponents monster zones. I can get pretty high attack. I'm glad that it can't attack an the turn you use it's effect but...yah...I do like the pic...so...6/
Lazer Yoshi
Its overpowered, but its a great start! Like the image ^_^ 8.3/
Regnal
Picture is nice, but it's a little bit blurryThe effect is way too overpowered, you don't need 12 stars, and I think one question mark for ATK and DEF is enough
Death Metal
Good start. Better than my first card :D 7/
Averex8
I changed the effect now so it shouldn't be overpowered.
Regnal
it's still way too powerfulmaybe if you would set a number of monsters (specific type or attribute monsters even) needed for tribute summon and remove the last effectThen, it would be greatOtherwise I like it (I didn't mention it before, did I)
57Matt57
Its overpowered, as everyone else says. I bet you could make the text a litter bigger because it looks like you have xtra space in the card effect, erase the xtra spae and it will be bigger
DGoser
Card should read "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except..." Also "The controller of this card cannot Summon (including Flip Summon) any other monsters..." Also "Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 1000 points for each Pyro-Type FIRE Monster in your hand..." The BIG No-no with this card is your opponent has no way of verifying the number of Pyro-Type FIRE Monsters in your hand. That makes this effect illigitimate. I would also call this card overpowered because based on your wording, you could have only one Monster on your side of the field and you would still be able to tribute it for this card's Special Summon (1 Monster is still "all Monsters on your side of the field"). Regnal
I bet you could make the text a litter bigger because it looks like you have xtra space in the card effect' date=' erase the xtra spae and it will be bigger[/quote'] It's automatic, you can only try to keep bigger letters by not hitting enter keybut I got your point
Averex8
Alright I fixed the problem that DGoser mentioned about the my monster powers up and I also made it more difficult to summon.
TotalObelisk
Hehe, Phoenix support = mine. *drools over card* Great image and neat effect, now I seriously want this card...
keymakr
thats a pritty sweet card. my only quest is does the monster ATK points remain the same if the cards you removed from the game when it was summoned are somehow brought back into the game by a cards effect? DGoser
Now your card's effect has been too watered-down to be worth it's Summoning requirements. 3 Monsters (1 Phoenix) + Hand Loss = Very Bad News. Also, you reworded the final effect incorrectly- now your Phoenix destroys itself by its own effect. Your almost there in finding a balance- good luck. No its atk would remain the same unless the effect stated otherwise. Plus I changed the effect so that the monsters you offer for a tribute are just sent to the Graveyard instead. ╬「Selatcia」╬
Not a bad idea. I've seen the pic a few times before though.8/
Creator Incarnate
I just wanted to mention that Healing Tears would be destroyed by both of these monsters. For a project I'm making, I have to do something pretty similar as your continuous spell, except that it's a field spell and either player can pay 1000 Lifepoints to keep it on the field.
