File Problem.......

Ok I need help with this. I wanna open the file but there's something stopping it. So I checked the place where I downloaded it from and I got this.

 

"Permissions are wrong on the ...... Fire up Terminal, cd to the dir (/Users/you/Downloads/Adobe.Photoshop.CS3.MAC.LEOPARD.OSX.10.5.1........Works)

 

then type:

chmod -R 777 ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE_LEOPARD_........app

After that it should run fine."

 

What does that mean and what do I have to do?

 

Note: I took out some words because I don't know if I'm allowed to say what it is.

and what type of file is it it exactly?

some terminals dont allow the following:

.zip, .rar, .exe

Oh it's an .app It's a mac application. IDK maybe when it opens it will be a .DMG then the ...... will be there.

Well I don't really know what your saying. Yeah it was in a folder then when I opened it, there was the activating folder so the ....... can be opened and there was Photoshop next to it. But when I double click on the .......... it just comes on the dock for a sec then vanishes the next sec.

So, open your Mac's terminal, and chmod it. Pm me. I know. I use terminal for my ipod touch. PM me, now. You haz a problem.
