Rinkotsu
I made these three card for the Fantasy Starter Deck I'm beginning to make called "Aquatic Mastery". The deck supposedly focuses on bring back the old style of using "Umi" affected cards. Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 Water monsters in your graveyard. While this monster is on the field, its name is treated as "Umi". If there is an active Field Spell Card on the field, this effect is not applied. All Water monsters on the field gain ATK equal to the number of Water monsters on your side of the field x 100. Lore:If "Umi" is on the field:-This monster cannot be destroyed by battle. If "Umi" is not on the field:-This monster cannot be destroyed by spell, trap, and monster effect. Lore:This card's name is treated as "Umi". Increase the ATK of all Water monsters by 300. Decrease the ATK of all Fire Monsters by 300.
silverlighted
The three pics are a bit too pixely.I'm not an OCG master, but I'm thinking the first card should be phrased as such: This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 WATER monsters {clarify from where}. While this monster is on the field, its name is treated as "Umi". All WATER monsters on the field gain ATK equal to the number of WATER monsters on your side of the field x 100. So check out the corrections.I'm not quite sure if you say "this monster" or "this card" though, I keep forgetting. And if the summoning cost refers to the field, I think this card is a bit underpowered. I really like Aqua Gryphon's effect, giving it a special ability even when you don't have Umi, and I think the abilities were appropriately distributed. Too bad it's not searchable but maybe you did it that way, and maybe it's better that way. Normally I don't pick on names because ygo cards don't necessarily get the best names ever, but Aqua Beach? It's like NeoSpacian Aqua Dolphin...one would hope that the beach is related to aqua, lol. And OCG error for Aqua Beach ["While this card is on the field, its name is treated as 'Umi'..."] And see previous corrections on your first card. Rinkotsu
I went back and fixed it. When I had made these cards, I really didn't have anything to look on for reference. Gelphic's effect is similar to Doom Dozer, in being just a high level monster that can be special summoned from the hand by removing from play monsters. And I changed "Aqua Beach" to "Unabara", another word that means ocean in japanese, just to keep up with the trend of "Umi" and "Umiiruka". I hope I got my OCG correct with them all though.
