It's been ages since I posted a card, so here is one. I hope you guys like it, but as always I'm open to criticism about the card.

Also, I'm not too sure if the pic is any good for the card, but I couldn't find anything better.

you cant advance summon a level 4 monster. plus we arent using that OCG anyhow.

 

it should be Special Summon. ^_^

 

and i think it should be 'Control no monsters' instead of 'have no monsters'.

What a weird name - bloodthirsty warlords aren't usually associated with gardening... or is there something I'm not lookin' into, here? Japanese mythology?

 

Well, anyway, this is as good support as Samurai gets from anyone; better than that other Samurai-related Field Spell (Shien's Castle of Mist, I believe?); better than most (real or imagined) support I've seen associated with Samurai...

 

So...

Well, I liked the picture, I do however think the card is a bit unbalanced. The fact that samurais, who are already good, can't be killed by any effects so there's only 2 ways to beat them. Either you Summon amonster of high str, and all decks don't have that, and even so the monster can be killed with a trap or something. The outher way would be to destoy the feild card itself, and also that can be negated by traps and such, however, that's more of a weak point than the previous way to handel it. Also, the fact that there are cards that let you search for feild cards in your deck and then add them to your hand makes it worse.

 

Well, I've seen much worse and he picture is good, so I wouldn't say it's bad, but try to balance it a bit. Maby you can't target the samurai carrds with effects.

Your logic makes it seem like Frontline Base is overpowered because you can Summon Union monsters and get VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon out easily. However, just because a card has support doesn't mean it's broken.

 

You shouldn't base the balance of one card on another card(s).

I see your argument, that a card isn't unbalanced, it's the combination, but I entierly dissagree, beacaus it's the psobilty to use the card in comboes that makes the card good or bad.

 

A card wich by itself isn't unbalanced is still unbalanced if it can be used in an unbalanced combo with outher cards. It's like saying Necroface isn't unbalanced becaus it's not a good card on it's own. But when you combine it with outher RFG cards, it's incredibly good, that's why it has been limited, becuas it was unbalanced. It's also like saying that a good mosnter that can be special summoned isn't unbalanced becuas it can't sepical summon itself.
