Jamie and Aaron were almost done with a battle, and Jamie happened to be winning. It was about 8:45

 

Jamie: My Adhesion Trap Hole cuts your Mammoth Graveyard's attack in half!

Aaron: Uh-oh

Jamie's Exiled Force destroyed Aaron's Mammoth Graveyard

 

Jamie: 1100 Aaron: 0

 

Aaron: Good job! You're getting better by the day!

Jamie: Thanks, but I wouldn't be able to do it without you giving me your old cards.

 

Aaron: Maybe someday you can beat my advanced deck! Maybe..

 

Jamie: Your what? You've been holding back this whole time! I want a rematch!

 

Aaron: I don't think so shorty! You're definitly not ready. You're highest attack of all your cards is 1500.

 

Jamie: You just don't want to lose any more of your cards! You're afraid!

 

Aaron: Whatever....

Jamie walked out of his bedroom with a smile on his face.

Aaron followed after him.

 

Aaron: You... forgot your prize.

Aaron handed Jamie his "witch of the black forest", wich is what he bet on that he would win.

 

Jamie: I'll be in my room, reorginizing my deck. Maybe I can find someone else who still plays Yugioh.

 

Aaron: Good luck! The only one who still plays Yugioh is Allie, and she's way too easy.

Allie was Aaron's 8 year old sister, with not a single card with an attack over 1000.

Aaron walked back into his room.

 

Jamie: Well, see ya.

Jamie left Aaron's house and walked down the street past the deli, around the corner where the barber shop was being rebuilt after a fire. He was almost there. He could see it a few buildings down. He walked up to the building, and looked into the window.

 

Jamie: Wow! Just look at all those cards!

Yes, Jamie was staring through the window of "Rj's Yugioh Card Shop". The owner, Rj, was going out of business. Yugioh was becoming less and less popular. He had already made arrangement's for it to be rebuilt into a convienent store. Noone else bought cards there except Jamie and Allie, who only did when she had saved up enough money from searching in the couch cushions.

 

Rj: Oh, hello there Jamie, looking to buy some cards before the store is gone?

 

Jamie: Yes, sir. I'd like....... that one.

 

Rj: I see you have your I on my new Attack+ package.

Rj handed Jamie the cards and got $6 in return.

 

Jamie: cool, another Rienforcements!

Jamie looked through the cards and found something new.

He read the card aloud.

 

Jamie: Pyramid Energy... It has two different abilities...

 

Rj: It's a helpful card! Enjoy it.

 

Jamie: Ok! Thanks, Rj!

Jamie walked out of the little shop and continued down the street for a few minutes then walked up his driveway.

He entered his house and plopped down on the sofa.

He flipped through the channels until he slowly fell asleep.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1 Part 2]Chap1. Day 2 Part 2

 

Jamie rubbed his eyes as he lifted off the couch. He staggered to his father, who was flipping some pancakes in the kitchen.

 

Jamie's Dad: Morning, kiddo!

Jamie: Hi, dad. What time is it?

 

The sun glistened brightly outside, telling jamie he had slept in.

 

Jamie's Dad: 'Bout One Thirty. Why?

Jamie: Just curious.

 

Jamie sat down infront of a small stack of pancakes and picked up a fork.

His dad laughed slightly.

 

Jamie's Dad: Those aren't for you, silly. Seth's here!

 

Seth is Jamie's 12 year-old cousin, who also plays Yugioh. He's very cocky, and doesn't get along well with Jamie.

 

Seth: Hey twerp?

 

The words ran up Jamie's spine. He grinned slightly, realizing what Seth would ask him. He sighed.

 

Jamie: What Seth?

Seth: I challenge you to a Yugioh battle!

 

Jamie practically said the words himself.

(Jamie: 2000)

(Seth: 2000)

 

Jamie: I summon Masaki the Legendary Swordsman in attack mode!

(ATK:1100 DEF:1100)

 

Seth: I summon Armored Lizard in defense mode!

(ATK:1500 DEF:1200)

 

'But why?' Jamie thought. 'Why not attack?'

 

Jamie pulled a card off the top of his deck, while maintaining a pokerface.

 

Jamie: I equip Malevolent Nuzzler to Masaki!

(Masaki's attack is now 1800)

 

Masaki, attack Armored Lizard!

(Armored Lizard was destroyed)

 

Seth: I summon Ancient Elf in attack position, and then equip Rienforcements to it!

(ATK:1950 DEF:1200)

 

Seth: Ancient Elf, attack Masaki the Legendary Swordsman!

(Masaki was destroyed, so Jamie's health was lowered to 1850)

 

Jamie: Now I use Snatch Steal! It lets me control your monster, and earn 1000 lifepints each of your turns!

(Jamie took control of Ancient Elf)

 

Jamie: Attack Seth directly!

(Ancient Elf attacked, bringing Seth's health to 550)

 

Seth: I summon Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise in Defense Position!

(ATK:600 DEF:2000

 

Jamie: I summon Exiled Force! Then I use Raigeki to get rid of your monster! Exiled Force, attack!

(Exiled Force attacked Seth directly, finishing the battle)

 

Seth growled in defeat, unsatisfied by his loss. Jamie grinned slightly.

 

Steven: Uh, are you guys gonna eat?

 

The two boys smirked and sat down for a meal. Seth quickly got over the fight.

That's when Eva arrived.

Chap2. Day 2 Part 2

 

Eva is a student in Jamie's class. No, that sentence was an insult. Eva is the most beautiful student in Jamie's school... at least, in his eyes she was.

 

Eva: Hi, guys.

 

Steven: Oh, hi Eva! You hungry too?

 

Eva: Depends. You making your famous strawberry pancakes?

 

Steven: Yepper! Here, enjoy a plate!

 

Eva: Thanks!

 

She sat down and cut up the first pancake, chewing as Jamie started some small conversation.

 

Jamie: S-so, why'd you come here?

 

Seth: Shutup! Thats no way to talk to .... a lady.

 

Eva made a face at Seth's immature attempt to get her to like him. She rolled her eyes.

 

Eva: Aww, your so sweet! Come here and give me a kiss!

 

Seth leaned in, and Eva slapped him, leaving a slight red mark on his cheek.

 

Seth: Ow! I guess I had that coming...

 

Jamie: As I was saying, why are you here?

 

Eva: There's a bulldozer at Jr's shop!

 

Jamie's jaw dropped at the words.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 2 Part 3]Chap2. Day 2 Part 3

 

Jamie, Seth, and Eva peddled down Main Street, toward Rj's store. As they turned on a corner, Jamie crashed into a carpenter at the half-built barber shop. He acted like the thick man was nothing, and immediately got going. Once they reached the humble shop, they screeched to a stop and gazed at the half-wrecked rummage of what once was "Rj's Yugioh Card Shop".

 

Jamie, Seth, and Eva: NO!!

 

Rj sat on a bench nearby, face in his palms. Jamie and Eva were walking to him, while Seth tried to talk to the man controlling the bulldozer.

 

Rj: Don't bother, kids. It's too late...

 

Jamie: It's not too late! This can't be happening!!

 

Eva patted Jamie's back, though she knew it wouldn't make a difference. Seth stepped over to the group.

 

Seth: The guy won't stop, not that half a shop will do any good...

 

Eva: I'm sorry Rj, if there's anything I ca-

 

Rj: It's okay, I'm gonna get better business with a convenience store anyway...

 

There was a disturbing silence from the four that upset Jamie even worse.

 

Rj: Why don't you kids run home, now.

 

The childeren were already on the bikes, heading around the corner and back down Main Street, to break the news to Aaron

 

[spoiler=Chapter 3 Part1]Chap3. Day 2 Part 1

 

Aaron spat his soda straight across the patio.

 

Aaron: WHAT?!

 

Eva, Jamie, Seth, and Aaron sat on Aaron's patio, around a bonfire. Seth nodded sadly, as did Jamie and Eva.

 

Eva: I know it's hard to believe but-

 

Aaron: Hard to believe?! Yugioh is my life!

 

Jamie: I know.....

 

Seth: Big deal! We can still play with the cards we have.

 

Eva: But thats no fun! Playing with the same cards, every single time? No way!

 

Jamie: I agree!

 

The sun was out of view and the moon rised gradually. The childeren took turns phoning thier parents, asking to sleep at Aaron's house. Everyone could stay, except Seth, who had to go back to his parents. The three teens slept outside in sleeping bags, roasting hotdogs and marshmellows. They soon fell asleep from exhaustion.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 3 Part 2] Chap3. Day 3 Part 2

 

Jamie awoke. He looked around to see if the others were awake, but they weren't. They weren't even there! He stepped off his bed and - Flash! - Everything was black.

 

He appeared in a musty wood, confused.

 

Jamie: Where am I?

 

He saw a Petit Angel in the distance. Wait a second....

 

Jamie: WHO ARE YOU?!

 

Petit angel: I'm a yugioh monster, silly.

 

Jamie: What? Where am I?

 

Petit Angel: You're in the Shadow Realm. Yami Yugi came and saved us all from the darkness!

 

Jamie: What's happening? How do you exist? How do I get home?

 

Petit Angel: Just wake up, duh!

 

Jamie: I'm asleep?!

 

Petit Angel: Not for long!

 

Before he knew it, Jamie was thumped on the head by the monster.

 

Jamie: Woahhhh....

 

A light flashed brightly, and suddenly, Jamie was awake. For real.

 

Jamie: Wow.

 

Eva: What?

 

Jamie: Nevermind.....

Eva: Wanna go to the movies tonight, guys?

 

Jamie and Aaron: Sure!

 

Eva: Cool! So, what do you guys wanna do until then?

 

Aaron: How about a Yugioh battle?

 

Eva: I guess, but.... I'm not very good....

 

Aaron: That's okay! Lets go!

 

Aaron and eva both got their decks and disks, and started.

 

(Aaron: 2000 Eva: 2000)

 

Aaron: I'll go first! I summon.... Mammoth Graveyard in attack position!

(ATK:1200 DEF:800)

 

Eva: I'll start with... Jerry Beans Man!

(ATK:1750 DEF:0)

 

Eva: Destroy Mammoth Graveyard!

(Beans Man Destroyed Mammoth Graveyard, dropping Aaron's HP to 1450)

 

Aaron: Go, Sonic Duck! And I'll equip Reinforcements to it!

(ATK:2300 DEF:700)

 

Aaron: Wipe out her monster!

(Beans Man was destroyed by Sonic Duck, making Eva's health 1450)

 

Eva: I Use Giant Soldier of Stone in Defense mode!

(ATK:1300 DEF:2000)

 

Aaron: Grr.. I use Brain control!

(Aaron controls Sonic Duck)

 

Aaron: Now, Sonic Duck! Defeat her!

(Sonic Duck drops Eva's HP to 0)

 

(Aaron: 1450 Eva: 0)

 

Eva: Wow...

 

[spoiler=Chapter 3 Part 4]Chap3. Day 3 Part 4

 

Jamie: That was quick.

 

Eva: Wow! You're amazing!

 

Eva blushed slightly and rested her head on Aaron's chest as he held her. Jamie was green with envy. Eager to change the subject, he reminded the two teens of Rj's convinience store.

 

Jamie: I wonder how far Rj is getting with his new shop. I hope he's getting better business now.

 

Eva stepped back from Aaron and straightened up.

 

Eva: It would be nice to see the new store... Let's go!

 

The trio hopped on their bicycles and launched down Cherry Street. They turned onto Main St. and curved around the barber shop. They reached "Rj's Stop N' Shop" in no time. Their faces were mournful, and sorry for Rj's loss. Rj was waiting outside with a tray of sodas. He expected the teens' arrival.

 

Rj: Hello, kids! How's it been?

 

Aaron: We're doing okay...

 

Jamie couldn't say the same. His dream -or maybe nightmare is the right term- was haunting him. He could almost here the soft purr of the Petit Angel.

 

Eva: How are you, Rj?

 

Rj: I'm makin' it through. Business is booming, I suppose...

 

Jamie just stared at the clouds, day dreaming.

 

Rj: Anywho, would you kids like some soda?

 

Eva and Aaron grabbed a glass, but Jamie just stared in shock.

He swore he could see a Petit Angel, floating in the air, calling his name...

 

[spoiler=Chap4. Part 1]

 

Eva: Jamie? What's wrong?!

 

Jamie was unable to look away from the Petit Angel. Aaron snapped his fingers.

 

Aaron: Jamie!!!

 

Jamie finally turned to Aaron.

 

Jamie: Do you see that?

 

He pointed above Rj's head. Everybody turned, confused.

 

Eva: See what? Did Rj get a haircut?

 

Jamie: What? You're kidding me, right? You don't see that monster?

 

Rj: Have you gone insane, Jamie?

 

Aaron: Yugioh monsters aren't real!

 

Jamie: But... nevermind. I'm probably just hallucinating....

 

Eva: Ok then...

 

Jamie grabbed his soda and slurped it gradually.

 

Eva and Jamie and Aaron: Thanks, Rj!

 

Rj: Anytime, kids!

 

The teenagers then rode to the movie theater, wondering wich movie to watch.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 4 Part 2]

Chap4. Day 4 Part 2

 

It was the next morning, and Jamie woke up covered in sweat. His dream was just like last time, only he understood things a bit more. Why was he having this dream?!

 

Jamie rolled out of his bed, and stood up to his mirror. he brushed his hair and changed.

But in the mirror... That reflection!! Petit Angel was whispering!

 

Petit Angel: Help us... He's gone.... Please...

 

Jamie's jaw dropped to the floor.

 

Jamie: Who are you?!

 

Petit Angel: Do we have to keep having this conversation? I'm a yugioh monster!

 

Jamie: Not that!!! How are you talking? Why are you here?

 

Jamie's father opened the door, looking a tad worried.

The "hallucination" disappeared instantly.

 

Steven: Everything okay, kiddo?

 

Jamie: Ya, dad... I just stubbed my toe...

 

Jamie tried to sound honest, but it sounded a little cheesy.

 

Steven: Okay, just checking... Come on down and have some eggs.

 

Jamie's dad shut the door behind him, and the monster materialized from the shadows.

 

Petit Angel: Whew, that was close...

 

Jamie: Why bother hiding when no one can see you?

 

Petit Angel: Thats not exactly true. You see, only a very few lucky people can see Duel Spirits.

 

Jamie: What?!

 

The angel spoke in a calm, hopeful tone.

 

Petit Angel: Duel Spirit; a monster spirit that can be seen by gifted humans, that need quidance for variable reasons.

 

Jamie: I need... guidance? For what?

 

Petit Angel: Heck if I know... But either way, I'm here!

 

Jamie: Well, can you leave me alone? I don't need a "duel spirit" and I don't need "guidance"!

 

Petit Angel: Apparently, you do! I can't leave you until you no longer require guidance!

 

Jamie: Then you can do find out what I need guidance for. I'm starving!

 

He rushed down the stairs and into the dining room.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 4. Part 3]Chap4. Day 4 Part 3

 

Aaron and Eva were alone, sitting at the park.

 

Eva: So... What do you wanna' do?

 

Aaron spent no time thinking. He pulled out a racket.

 

Aaron: You up for some tennis?

 

That pretty much ruined the moment for Eva. She was the romantic type, and definitely not a sports jock.

 

Eva: Uh... sure, I guess...

 

Aaron: You okay?

 

Eva: Ya, just wondering how Jamie's doing... Do you think he's okay?

 

Aaron: What do you mean, "okay"? Are you talking about the hallucinations?

 

Eva: Ya, ya. But, I feel like somehow... nevermind.

 

Aaron: Okay... so, ready?

 

Eva: Anytime!

 

Aaron and Eva walked through the dew of the grass, toward the hard, concrete tennis court.

They chose their sides, grabbed their equipment, and started.

 

 

An hour later, they were finished. Aaron won, undoubtedly. Jamie had arrived around that time. And what a bad time to arrive.

 

What Jamie had seen destroyed his friendship with Aaron completely. Jamie had appeared to the scene of Eva and Aaron kissing on the court. They didn't notice him. He simply walked back home, in tears.

 

Eva: Did you hear something?

 

Aaron: Nah. Want me to walk you home?

 

Eva: Sure. I'm tired.

 

The two walked down Plum Street and reached Eva's home in no time.

 

 

[spoiler=Chap. 5 part 1]

There, lying on the wooden crate, coated in blood, was the body of Alexander Brown.

 

Jamie closed his notebook, slightly frustrated after finishing up two chapters of his novel, "Beyond The Limits".

 

Eva: What'cha got there?

 

Jamie sat in Steven's study, working on his novel. Eva had just walked in, after being let in by Jamie's father. Jamie blushed a bit, and hid his notebook behind him.

 

Jamie: Uhh, n-nothing...

 

Eva: I don't think it's nothing. Let me see!

 

Jamie: No!

 

But he was too late. Eva grabbed the notebook, reading the title aloud.

 

Eva: "Beyond The Limits, a novel by J. Voss"

 

Jamie: Gimme that back!

 

Eva: C'mon, let me read it. Please?

 

Jamie: No way!

 

Eva: Well, why not? Are you afraid I'll laugh so hard I'll sneeze all over it?

 

Jamie blushed even harder.

 

Jamie: N-no! That's not funny!

 

He stole it back from Eva, his pull feeling a bit harsh.

 

Jamie: Leave me alone!

 

Eva: Calm down, it's just a "novel". Aren't you overreacting a bit?

 

Jamie: Sorry... I just don't like people seeing my personal stuff.

 

Eva: Hey, wanna go do something?

 

Still feeling hurt from what he saw, Jamie was reluctant.

 

Jamie: Uh, I'm kinda busy with my-

 

Eva: Diary?

 

Jamie blushed, yet again.

 

Jamie: It is not a diary! I'ts a novel!

 

Eva: Ok, ok, sorry!

 

Jamie: Anyway, I'm busy. Maybe tomorrow?

 

Jamie knew he wouldn't hang out with her tomorrow, and possibly never again.

 

Eva: Ok, then. Bye.

 

At that moment, Jamie's one wish came true. But in a way, he would regret it for life.

The best 3 seconds of his life, now the worst.

A dream, yet a nightmare.

 

Eva kissed Jamie on the lips. When she drew her head back, Jamie was so close to fainting, so close to screaming, so close to kissing her back

Emotions rushed over his face, overwhelming him. by the time he looked up for Eva, she was gone.

 

Jamie: Oh my-

 

Steven: What'd Eva want?

 

Jamie: N-nothing.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 5 Part 2]

Chapter 5 Day 5 Part 2

Petit Angel:Wow. I can't beleive her.

 

Jamie: What?

 

Petit Angel:The way she plays you like a card. Wow, bad pun. Anyway, I have someone who wants to talk to you.

 

Jamie: Another duel spirit?

 

Petit Angel:Actually, no. Not a duel spirit. You've got an appointment with.... Seto Kaiba!

 

Jamie jumped straight up when he heard that. Giddy with excitement, he was speechless.

 

Petit Angel:I know, shocking, right? But hey, I'm a duel spirit. I can do alot of things. Your appointment with Seto is tomorrow, so no rush. He wants to talk to you.

 

Jamie was bursting with questions. Why him? Why in person? And just how did the spirit confront Kaiba to make the appointment? The poor teen's mind was overwhelmed with thought.

 

Jamie: So, who told him? You?

 

Petit Angel: Well... technically, but.... It wasn't exactly me. I can posess you humans, and take full control of your bodies and minds. I posessed one of Kaiba's top employees, convincing him to speak with you. He wants you to host a duel tournament!

 

Jamie: Me? For what reason?

 

Petit Angel: I'm not the only duel spirit, you know. I need to collect more information on the sitiuation, and other duel spirits may know more than us. As far as I can tell, something is siverely wrong in the Shadow Realm.. But I don't even know how to get there... Anyway, the more duelists we face, the better chance of a duel spirit being found. So we need to host this tournament. I told him you were top knotch, and were worthy of being the guest of honor. In other words, you need to do your best, and keep an eye out for duel spirits!

 

Jamie: I'm guessing Mr. Kaiba isn't in on our search for the duel spirits?

 

The angel nodded softly, and Jamie grinned wryly.

 

Jamie: So... when do we depart tomorrow? And where exactly do we go?

 

Petit Angel: Ermm... I haven't quite worked out that part. But don't worry, I'll have it taken care of by tomorrow.

 

Jamie: I don't feel too sure about this... but, whatever, I guess...

 

 

[spoiler=ch. 5 part 3]Chap 5 Part 3

 

Jamie tapped his foot impatiently, waiting to see his duel spirit. He was

sitting on the bench on his porch. Frustrated, Jamie decided to write in his journal. But before he could go get it, he was startled by a soft humming noise. He looked up while sheilding his eyes - it was insanely bright- to notice a helicopter in the distance. Now, helicopters and planes had flown by before, but Jamie knew this was his ride. The question was, how was it going to land here?

 

Jamie: What the-?

Petit Angel: Not what you expected? Teehee.

Jamie: Well, I'm not to used to getting picked up by helicopters. Wait, where's it going?

 

The helicopter didn't settle. It didn't slow down. I't went faster.

 

Petit Angel: Oh, It's not stopping here. We're going to meet up with it in a more descrete location. We can't have people see us being taken away in that thing.

 

Jamie: Well, why not?

Petit Angel: Well... because it's not ours.

Jamie: What?! You stole it?

Petit Angel: I didn't steal it! We're borrowing it.

 

Jamie: And who exactly did you borrow it from?

Petit Angel: The U.S. Military...

Jamie: WHAT?! I-I can't believe you!

 

Petit Angel: Oh, hush. We need to get going if we want to make it. They're taking off at exactly 3:35 PM. We have a half an hour to get the the city Pipeline. The nearest entrance to the pipeline is about a half-mile up the road. From there it's a good 20 miles. We need to take your Runner.

 

Jamie: I uh, kinda crashed it. That's why I've been using my bike. I got my liscense confiscated and everything.

 

Petit Angel: Borrow Aaron's Runner

Jamie: And by borrow you mean-

Petit Angel:Exactly.

 

[spoiler= Chapter 6! Part One!]

Jamie: Agh! Dog crap!

Petit Angel: Ignore it, Jamie. You have more important things to deal with.

Jamie: But it's on my shoe and.. ugh. Whatever.

 

I jogged down the street. Aaron's house was just a couple of blocks away. I didn't bother getting my bike from the garage. I passed up a few houses, my breathe deepening for each house. I was never a fast runner.

 

Petit Angel: Jamie! wait, Aaron's outside. How are we going to-

Jamie: Don't..worry...I...got..it!

 

I could hardly breathe. I was too skinny for such running. But finally, I reached the curb of the second block. Aaron peered at me mercilessly.

He obviously was still upset with me. I didn't remember what for. But this was no time for flashbacks.

 

Aaron: What do you w-

 

I knocked him over mid-sentence.

Petit Angel: That was your plan?

Jamie: Yep. It's working so far.

 

I hopped into his garage, and skimmed through the rubble. Tools, two bikes, a car, a shelf full of more tools, but where was his dad's deul runner? I still call it his dads because it's too big for him. Aaron's dad dueled as a teen, but he never uses it anymore.

 

There it was. The green and white duelrunner. It was an older model, and not in it's best condition, but I bet it could break 55 m.p.h. easy. Of course, I hadn't thought about the fact that I'm driving on town roads(the speed limit is 30 m.p.h.), and I don't have a liscense, but, as stated, none of that had come to mind. I had one chance to prove myself to everyone, and I will show them what a duelist I am.

 

I swung myself over the humungous duelrunner, and realized I forgot something. The access card. But before I could even get off the bike, Aaron bursted in. I had no time for this. I slid off, and darted toward Aaron. One jab to the face and a body hit the ground. Too bad it was mine.

 

I grabbed his leg and yanked him to the floor alongside me. I staggered upward, and grabbed ahold of the countertop for support. I didn't know Aaron had it in him. I kicked him in the gut. Once. Twice. I didn't bother to go for a third. I needed to keep him down, not start an all-out fight. I leaped over him and out the garage door. I climbed the short steps of the big back porch, and into the backdoor. I really didn't think this through. Where would the passcard be? I assumed Aaron's father's wallet.

 

Flashback.

 

Mr. Smith: Here Aaron. Take my Passcard. I won't be driving the duelrunner anytime soon.

Aaron: Sweet! Thanks, dad!

 

Yes! Aaron leaves all his junk in his room. I flew through the kitchen, and down the hallway. I flung the door open, revealing a somewhat messy bedroom. I opened one of Aaron's dresser drawers. It was his 'keepsake' drawer. Anything important(or small enough to fit) was in there. And sure enough, so was his passcard.

 

I rocketed toward into the kitchen once more, and out the backdoor. I'm suprised his mother, who was in the other room, didn't hear all the racket. I kept running toward the door, and ran into a brick wall: Aaron.

 

Jamie: Owch.

Aaron: What the hell do you think you're doing? Get off my property!

 

I ignored him. I went around to the car entrance, and boy am I glad it was open. I ran right in, grinning slightly at Aaron's mistake. I swiped the passcard through the slot, and listened in awe to the heavenly hum(in my ears, anyway. It actually had a pretty crappy engine, and it didn't sound too sweet.) of the motor. I didn't bother buckling. In a split second, I was off and out of the garage. So long, Aaron!

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 6! Part Two!]

Petit Angel: Hurry! We're not going to make it! Eek!

Jamie: Yes we are! just watch me!

 

I shoulda kept my mouth shut.

Slam!

 

(music video plays)

 

Jamie: ugh. What now?

I looked up to see a gang of duelists on their runners.

 

Biker1: Hey, watch where your goin!

Biker2: Yah! Ya' nearly scratched ma' wheels, man!

Biker1: Wait a second... that duel runner! Is that a "es20XL" model runner?

Jamie: Uh.. I think. Why?

Biker2: Hey, Mike!

Biker3: Ya? Woah!

Biker2: Look! It's in great condition! Well... other than the engine.

Jamie: Oh, crap! It won't start!

Biker3: So much for great condition...

Jamie: No! How am I going to get to the Pipeline now?!

Biker1: The Pipeline, huh?

Biker3: Well, we just so happen to have some business to take care of down there. Need a lift?

 

Music to my ears. No more worry of being pulled over.

 

Jamie:Ye-yes, please!

 

Biker1: Hop on! What'd you say your name was?

Jamie: It's Jamie.

Biker1: Well, I'm Sentler, that's Adam.

 

He pointed toward the largest of the gang. The third was already introduced as "Mike".

 

We continued down the road, and sped through town.

Near the Town Plaza, the entrance to the Pipeline was deserted. The Pipeline is a scary place. But it's the quickest way to Port Ballad, where my ride awaited. We glazed the park in seconds, heading straight into the Pipeline. We passed an old abandoned Duel field(wich was aboned because duel disks were invented.) It was a common hangout for Pipeliners. The pipeline was originally where Breese, my town, was. Rumors say a tremendous earthquake engulfed it in rock. Soon people wondered where it wnet, and started a new village, Breese.

 

Sentler: Woohoo!

Mike:Hurry, this kid needs to get there on time.

Sentler: Fine. Hold on tight, Jamie!

Jamie: Woaahhhh!

 

The runners sped up, I felt like I was flying. In no time we had reached the exit of The Pipeline. We flew out and onto Port Ballad Territory. We pulled to a stop(very roughly, might I add)and I leaped to my feet.

 

Sentler: Run, little man, run!

Adam: Go, dude! You can make it!

Mike: Good luck!

Jamie: Thanks!

 

I glanced at my watch; it was 7 minutes 'till takeoff. I ran to the point of my legs stinging(wich didn't take much). I still jogged onward, constantly checking the time. 6 minutes. 5 minutes. 4...then 3. The time stretched on, yet I seemed to get no further. 2 minutes. 1...

 

???: C'mon, we gotta go before someone sees us. Looks like he ain't gettin a ride.

Jamie: Wait! Woah!

 

I tripped and fell flat on my face.

 

Jamie: Oof..

???: Bout' time, kid. Hop on!

 

I crawled to my feet, eager to join the helicopter. I flung myself through the open door, and it slammed shut behind me.

 

???: Cloaking on. Designation marked. Prepare for takeoff.

???2:Got it. Buckle up! It's a long, long ride to the Kaibadome!

 

[spoiler=Chapter 6! Part 3!]

My eyes eased open. It's been weeks since my "ShadowRealm" nightmare. I appreciate whatever dream I get in comparison.

I didn't wake up in the helicopter seat. I was in a room I didn't recognize in the least. It was very tidy, and had a great view.

 

Petit Angel: Rise n' shine! Teehee. You've slept in

My slightly dreary eyes widened in horror. My ears rang in pain. My chance. Was it too late? I ripped the blanket off, and launched off the bed. I flung my suitcase open, grabbed an outfit, and got dressed.

 

Peit Angel: Care to explain the rush?

Jamie: You're kidding, right? You said I slept in! Hasn't the tournament started?

Petit Angel: Well, we don't leave for a good hour or so...

Jamie: Oh, thank God!

 

I still continued getting prepared. The past hour felt like nothing. I went through a mental checklist.

Deck? Check.

Disk? Check.

Wallet? Check.

Wait...

 

Jamie: Who's My ride? The helicopter?

Petit Angel: Nope. But Aaron's runner is good to go.

 

He probably would never forgive me for what all I've done.

I ran outside, and slung on leg over the runner, setting them both into positon. I swiped the card, and I was on my way. On my way to a tournament. Not just any tournament, one hosted by Seto Kaiba himself!

Victory, here I come!

 

15 minutes later...

 

Seto: Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen! For the next 5 days, I will bestow apon you.. the one and only.. the excitement and amazement of... The Kaiba Cup! Yes, that's right! The most outstanding tournament you will ever see, I assure you that! First, let's see our contestants!

 

Bingham: David Bingham!

Roberts: Kayne Roberts!

Feiver: Ella Feiver!

Williams: Vera Williams!

Jamie: Jamie Voss!

Cooper: Sarah Cooper!

Collins: Mathew Collins!

Ferrelle: Alabaster Ferrelle!

 

My ears perked up at the last name. Alabaster was last year's winner. Yet, none of the others names sounded familiar.

 

Seto: And... The winner of this tournament will be so lucky as to battle... Mokuba Kaiba!!!

Jamie awoke. He looked around to see if the others were awake' date=' but they weren't. They weren't even there! He stepped off his bed and - Flash! - Everything was black.

 

He appeared in a musty wood, confused.

 

Jamie: Where am I?

 

He saw a Petit Angel in the distance. Wait a second....

 

Jamie: WHO ARE YOU?!

 

Petit angel: I'm a yugioh monster, silly.

 

Jamie: What? Where am I?

 

Petit Angel: You're in the Shadow Realm. Yami Yugi came and saved us all from the darkness!

 

Jamie: What's happening? How do you exist? How do I get home?

 

Petit Angel: Just wake up, duh!

 

Jamie: I'm asleep?!

 

Petit Angel: Not for long!

 

Before he knew it, Jamie was thumped on the head by the monster.

 

Jamie: Woahhhh....

 

A light flashed brightly, and suddenly, Jamie was awake. For real.

 

Jamie: Wow.

 

Eva: What?

 

Jamie: Nevermind.....[hr']

Chap3. Day 3 Part 3

 

Eva: Wanna go to the movies tonight, guys?

 

Jamie and Aaron: Sure!

 

Eva: Cool! So, what do you guys wanna do until then?

 

Aaron: How about a Yugioh battle?

 

Eva: I guess, but.... I'm not very good....

 

Aaron: That's okay! Lets go!

 

Aaron and eva both got their decks and disks, and started.

 

(Aaron: 2000 Eva: 2000)

 

Aaron: I'll go first! I summon.... Mammoth Graveyard in attack position!

(ATK:1200 DEF:800)

 

Eva: I'll start with... Jerry Beans Man!

(ATK:1750 DEF:0)

 

Eva: Destroy Mammoth Graveyard!

(Beans Man Destroyed Mammoth Graveyard, dropping Aaron's HP to 1450)

 

Aaron: Go, Sonic Duck! And I'll equip Reinforcements to it!

Aaron: Wipe out her monster!

(Beans Man was destroyed by Sonic Duck, making Eva's health 1450)

 

Eva: I Use Giant Soldier of Stone in Defense mode!

Aaron: Grr.. I use Brain control!

(Aaron controls Sonic Duck)

 

Aaron: Now, Sonic Duck! Defeat her!

(Sonic Duck drops Eva's HP to 0)

Chap3. Day 3 Part 4

 

Jamie: That was quick.

 

Eva: Wow! You're amazing!

 

Eva blushed slightly and rested her head on Aaron's chest as he held her. Jamie was green with envy. Eager to change the subject, he reminded the two teens of Rj's convinience store.

 

Jamie: I wonder how far Rj is getting with his new shop. I hope he's getting better business now.

 

Eva stepped back from Aaron and straightened up.

 

Eva: It would be nice to see the new store... Let's go!

 

The trio hopped on their bicycles and launched down Cherry Street. They turned onto Main St. and curved around the barber shop. They reached "Rj's Stop N' Shop" in no time. Their faces were mournful, and sorry for Rj's loss. Rj was waiting outside with a tray of sodas. He expected the teens' arrival.

 

Rj: Hello, kids! How's it been?

 

Aaron: We're doing okay...

 

Jamie couldn't say the same. His dream -or maybe nightmare is the right term- was haunting him. He could almost here the soft purr of the Petit Angel.

 

Eva: How are you, Rj?

 

Rj: I'm makin' it through. Business is booming, I suppose...

 

Jamie just stared at the clouds, day dreaming.

 

Rj: Anywho, would you kids like some soda?

 

Eva and Aaron grabbed a glass, but Jamie just stared in shock.

He swore he could see a Petit Angel, floating in the air, calling his name...

Chap4. Day 3 Part 1

 

Eva: Jamie? What's wrong?!

 

Jamie was unable to look away from the Petit Angel. Aaron snapped his fingers.

 

Aaron: Jamie!!!

 

Jamie finally turned to Aaron.

 

Jamie: Do you see that?

 

He pointed above Rj's head. Everybody turned, confused.

 

Eva: See what? Did Rj get a haircut?

 

Jamie: What? You're kidding me, right? You don't see that monster?

 

Rj: Have you gone insane, Jamie?

 

Aaron: Yugioh monsters aren't real!

 

Jamie: But... nevermind. I'm probably just hallucinating....

 

Eva: Ok then...

 

Jamie grabbed his soda and slurped it gradually.

 

Eva and Jamie and Aaron: Thanks, Rj!

 

Rj: Anytime, kids!

 

The teenagers then rode to the movie theater, wondering wich movie to watch.

'But why?' Jamie thought. 'Why not attack?'

Seth: Ancient Elf, attack Masaki the Legendary Swordsman!

(Masaki was destroyed, so Jamie's health was lowered to 1850)

 

Jamie: Now I use Snatch Steal! It lets me control your monster, and earn 1000 lifepints each of your turns!

(Jamie took control of Ancient Elf)

 

Jamie: Attack Seth directly!

(Ancient Elf attacked, finishing the battle)

Seth growled in defeat, unsatisfied by his loss. Jamie grinned slightly.

Oh sorry didn't realize Brain control but on this one when Masaki atacked Armored lizard it did damage

Well your welcome the story is good but now that I think about it most duels do use 4000 life Points but a normal Duel you find others useing 8000. No ones used 2000 life points sense the game first came out.
