Welcome to my new fan fic, Dawn of the New King. It follows the story of Seh Riplen, a young 15 year-old duelist as he tries to become the next King of Games. Seh's card's are on this forum-

So here it is.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1]

It was a dark, stormy afternoon as 15 year-old Seh Riplen was inside his small home, watching television as his parents were away for the day. He was flipping channels, and decided to watch the news.

 

"Before we sign off for the day, we have one more thing to say," said the News Anchor Man. "It turns out that Yugi Moto, the King of Games just passed away, about 30 minutes ago."

 

'He finally passed away, wow.' thought Seh.

 

The News Anchor Man continued, "He died at 89 years old, and he lived a long successful life. He died in his sleep, a peaceful death. It is sad, however it probably sparks a interest in many young duelists. There will be a tournament held, to find the next King of Games! Ask your local card shop for details, and we'll have more on this subject tomorrow!"

 

Seh turned off the TV, and went to grab his coat. His Uncle Robert owns a card shop a couple blocks down, and he'll ask him about this tournament.

 

'I'll do anything to be the new King of Games. Anything' thought Seh.

 

He wasn't supposed to leave the house when his parents were gone, but as long as he got back before they came back, he should be fine.

 

He put on his coat, then he grabbed his backpack with his duel disk and deck, and ran out the front door.

 

It was drizzling rain outside, so Seh started to run as soon as he got outside.

 

'I hope my Uncle knows about this tournament, otherwise I went out in the rain for nothing.'

 

He was almost to his uncle's shop when he was confronted by a stranger, in a dark robe, with a hood covering his face.

 

"Hey, I'm kind of in a rush. Can you move?" said Seh, kind of annoyed.

 

"I will not move," the man simply replied. "Until you beat me a duel."

 

"......Fine. I'm going to make this quick." said Seh. "I'm in a hurry, so lets get things started!"

 

"Very well," said the man calmly as he took out a duel disk from his backpack.

 

Man:8000

Seh:8000

 

"Ready? If so, you can have the first move," said Seh.

 

"Alright then... I draw. I play 3 cards face down in my Spell and Trap Card Zone and end my turn," said the man.

 

'That's it?' thought Seh. 'He must've put at least 1 trap out of those 3 cards. I better be careful.'

 

"Okay, I draw! I summon Scarlet Ninja in Attack Position!"

 

A male ninja with fire-red hair appeared in front of Seh. ATK 1400.

 

"And now I'll have him attack!" said Seh.

 

"Not so fast! I activate my trap, Ring of Destruction! It can destroy your little monster, then we each take damage equal to it's ATK!"

 

Seh had a feeling it was a trap. "I saw this coming, so I activate my Ninja's effect! I can return him to my hand to inflict 500 points of damage to you. You just wasted your trap. With that, I end my turn."

 

Man: 7500

Seh: 8000

Yugi died! in the first chapter!!!

 

 

The chapter was ok

if i had to rate it would be a 7.2/10
