SliferMigi
Hey, my friend is thinking about starting to play the TCG, and he asked me where to start. Of course my most obvious thought was "the 2008 Starter Deck" but is it a good place to start? and he doesnt want to spend too much money in one go incase he doesnt like playing. any thoughts? 「tea.leaf」
2008 Starter deck is really good, actually. If he gets three copies of it, he'll have a nice set of many really good cards. Beyond that, the Dark Emperor is also a good choice. However, its OCG counterpart, Advent of the Emperor, is significantly better.
Axiom_Nor
I recommend this as a "Starter Pack"Starter Deck 2008 Card Selves (Not White, White = Pro = Not something a new player wants to be identified as)Tin (I recommend Stardust or RDD)Should come to about $35.or you can skip the Tin, and get 2 more SD2008
