Dude, reality just busted a nut in my face.

Let me begin by asking, what are we?

What is this that we see?

What is existence?

What is perception?

What is?

Have you ever really felt the need to... do anything in your life? You grasp what reality is based on a sense of inner self that we cannot really define, it is just what it is. The matter of consciousness that we perceive to be reality is just a layer, a layer of an unfolding reality. We are a part of the whole, we exist on some sort of plane in this world where all of our thoughts really just make sense to themselves, regardless of what the hell might be happening. All the sufferings we could ever imagine, we are at once them, because we know of them to exist, we know of somehow an infinite circle to bend and contort into mysterious shapes, what life truly is.

I am beside myself in this reality. We are just consciousness, us, for the moment, but there is a sense of "human" or whatever we imagine ourselves to be, towards all things. Sometimes we feel the need to travel through it the way we do, sometimes we don't.

Static has achieved enlightenment. BYAH Suckas!

The mind is infinitely expanding, and if you don't believe me, just take a look yourself. I can say I finally get it, life, existence, everything. I got it, and I hope you all can too :D. We are our own gods... you know?

@Static: Sometimes, I find myself thinking in a way that bears resemblance to yours. In a way.

What if we are actually all drones in God's grand computer, seeing what He wants us to see and believing that He wants us to believe? What if an object only exists while we look at it, and instantly disappears when there's nothing that pays attention to it? What if this futile creation we call the Internet is actually the Universe in a smaller scale?

These are the things we'll never know.

For those who believe in, Christ, Alah, Jesus, God, poop, pizza, whatever it may be.

I want you to take that quote into consideration.

Now, ask yourself, who, who took you, pushed you, did what you did, to get you where you are now?

Thats right. You yourself did. No your so called god. You walked yourself there, you opened the door, and you, put your foot through the frame. It was you, not him, her, it.

You make what you want happen, downfalls, up bringings, are all done by you.

Sad feelings, past rememberance, pain, emotion, anger, all controlled by you.

From the moment you first open your eyes, to the moment you last the light of the earth. Your actions, your memory, your path, are all created by you. Think I said, YOU enough?

Reality did indeed bust a nut in your face, but it seems that nut is to large for anyone else's face.

By that, I mean, you must consider that this perception of life, existence, what we are, is merely unique for you. Considering my christian outlook, I believe unique things unfold for unique people.

The "sense of 'Human'" we have, that you spoke of, has spoken truth, that consciousness, perception of what we are is evident, but not true.

We know, and see things to exist, if I understand you correctly.

I could ramble, but honestly, the only things I agree with are the perceptions and consciousness of reality, which you summed up to the finest tee.

So..

Congratulations on enlightenment. :D.

I hope to one day get to the level of understanding to see things as you do.

But until then.

Try making some funking sense.

:).

Now for me to actually to respond to the thread :D.

Deities of any sort do not exist.

Not in the traditional "OOOO GOD!" way. *not to offend anyone.*

It depends on what exactly you describe a Deity to be. I think that you would consider a deity to be a figure that can manipulate the flow of something.

I was kind of suprised by this. Coming from you at least. Seems as though you wouldn't support this thought considering your don't believe in free will... :?

But hey. I'm glad for you. :D

I think that people need to come to a realization more often. Be their realization something like this or horse raddish.

My outlook on the world is a lot less... bright...than yours. My realization was a lot less happy and bright.

But I mostly agree with what you have offered us. Sort of. Strong wording though. Took me a while to fully comprehend what you were trying to get across.

Thats hilarious, I actually had that exact thought. Things that exist in reality tend to project themselves on other objects, they vibrate at a certain frequency, or at certain frequencies which reflect and build off of each other, causing reality to just be a projection of the minds of many reflecting and creating reality.

If that didn't confuse you, basically, the internet is a simple reflection of how the minds of the humans who use it use it, act on thought, live, believe, anything they are able to perceive that they put onto it is reflected through it, and it moves the objects that use it. Society is no different, in the same way that posts express ideas, cultures and traditions radiate human nature, they are essentially the same, its just that some take more comfort in being social over a computer than when they perceive their face to be vulnerably exposed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
@ Jesus & Claire: Imagine a Guitar string. Now, Imagine it being struck. (Imagine just a part of the string, about an inch long.)
What I am trying to recreate in your mind is essentially a Three Dimensional Oval, vibrating at its own frequency. That is what our mind is, we are the vibrations, so to speak, of everything we have taken in, made in our minds, and all we know is just a vibration of what we see as reality.
If you could imagine, we are strings, vibrating constantly and marking our existence in reality by giving off our own frequency, and absorbing and interpreting the frequencies of reality, be it from other people or from nature.
@ John Henry: Inspirational. Glad you got what I'm saying :).
@ Icy: Willie's response sums it up. Not everyone gets it.
@ Tectonix: We can all really "get" it, some just need more time and practice than others. Oh and just out of the blue, you're easily the funniest member I don't ever talk to.
@Mechking: Thanks :). Glad it touched you.
@ Gamesmaster: Yeah, I've understood it all along, the function of thought, the way Nirvana really is, I've known it. Today, I felt it.
@ Glorious Excess: Lulz :P
@ CardCreator: It's "Philosophy." :P
@2sick4u: Well, I can say I understand how you can believe god exists, how it makes sense to you. When I realized this, I almost thought the exact same thing, but I perceived it differently, that as individuals, and as a whole, we are what makes up "God," rather than separate from "it." We may know and see things to exist, but at some point, you realize that even though thought is thought, and perception is perception, never really a glimpse at reality, these things explain how reality is. The whole Vibrations thing, it is the world stripped of names and faces, perceptions and experiences, it is what we are at the core, consciousness on a plane of existence. I think, therefore I am. I perceive (something other than Void/Space), therefore something else exists to be perceived.
@ FH-FH: I knew it a long time ago too, I just never felt it like I did today.
@ Willie: I want you to think about reality for a second. What makes waking up one day different than the next? Why would I have come to this realization today? Chances are, I did something different today. The brightness of your perception of life is only due to how you feel you are. You understand it, but you have not been given the opportunity to feel it, to achieve a philosophical revelation that you can really feel, experience perceiving life as it is in the raw, the reflection of thoughts in one perceivable plane.
@ Everyone: Reality as we perceive it is just one plane, it has one certain way of occurring, regardless of whether or not it is predetermined. (Laws of Physics and Time) Our mind is different, it is reality, but it is reality to an infinite exponent. In our minds we can create anything we can imagine to create, limited only by lack of thinking of it. Because of the way humans think, a limit to our mind and imagination cannot exist if you continue to create realistic and unrealistic planes (as to math, not flying) in our heads. Infinite potential if we just choose to see it.
what if everyone is a god in their own right, like Static says, and can manipulate reality in a way of our own, affecting, intertwined with other's personal realities based on their own realm of thought and individual conciousness...
Wow... that is something to ponder and contemplate about, isn't it...
What reality itself is, and how you yourself and others manipulate everthing around you... everyone can be a 'god'. They can then manipulate their own individual realities and the realities of others with ease... it is called life.. reality.. Its all affected by everthing else..
I think I get it... wow..
Wow... I think that thought just gave me a headache...
Thank you static, for once again, explaining to the world how reality itself works..
Do a wiki search for "Law of Attraction." It will do you good.
And your welcome :)
:/
I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and disagree.
Life is like a marbel rolling in a bowl. Bare with my horrible metaphors please. The marble goes round and round and round, but is always going to land in the exact middle of that bowl. Now of course I mean that persistance is the key to failure. If you continue to repeat the same action hoping for a different outcome, you are insane.
true, it is like in most of the 'twilight zone' tv shows, they are forced to repeat the same dark moment over and over, they go mad and are trapped forever..
but that itself, cant be reality. Not if one is intellegent enough to 'think outside the box' and find what reality really is itself. Then one is not trapped within reality, then one can manipulate his own reality and shape the future.
