VOLUME ONE

 

[spoiler=[b]Run Aways]It's a quiet night and the stars glimmer in the sky. The bright yellow moon is partly covered by stray clouds in the sky. Near the Pier of Duel Academy a young duelist gets in a motor boat almost as if he were in panic. This duelist is Kee (Pronounced Key)

 

Kee: "I need to hurry I...have to hurry before it's too late." Kee swings his back pack in the boat and stumbles in the boat as he tries to untie the string holding the boat to the Pier. Water splashes his dirt stained face. "Okay...its time to go, I am sorry everyone but...you just would not understand." kee starts the boat and takes off on the ocean with moon light dancing on the water.

 

After three months of searching nothing has come up on why Kee left the island. Although his friends are sad they move on, eventually his two best friends Marri and Lisa drop out during their second year to a the Academy to find their friend. In the Ra Yellow dorm...

 

Lisa walks in her blond hair shinning in the day light complementing her Ra Yellow uniform. She stops in front of Marri's door and knocks hoping to talk about where they will go. "Come on Marri we really need to talk about this."

 

Marri: "There's nothing to talk about. We leave to fin Kee that is the plan, what more do you need to know?" Marri was put the rest of his cloths in a suite case and closed it shut. He moved his long black hair out of his face, his eyes cold and soulless.

 

Lisa: "I never really said Id go!"

 

Marri opens the door and looks at Lisa. "We go to the first place we see. Even though its been three months I am sure Kee has not gotten far." He looks out to the ocean as if he really knew where Kee was.

 

Lisa looks at his pale face in concern. In her mind she tries to sort the situation at hand. "What's happened to you Marri? You and Kee were not best friends but you guy still hanged out a lot. He leaves and now look at you...you've...changed." She spoke out loud. "I'm going to finish packing."

 

Marri: "Alright you do that." His voice some what heavy as if he were in pain.

 

On a small Island not to far away from Duel Academy a duelist in old tattered clothing was currently dueling a local. His face covered by a hood. Strands of dark brown hair covered what you could see of his face....

 

????: "This duel has been fun so far but I am afraid it's going to end. I sacrifice Blazing Inpachi to summon Demogorgon attack mode!

Local: "Who now that is a heavy hitter. Looks like you got me boy, by the way who are you?"

 

????: "DEMOGORGON ATTACK WITH POISON BLOOD!!!" The mystery duelist monster attack and successfully took the duel.

The unknown duelist walked away into an alley way. The man he dueled ran into the ally but saw no one. "Odd."

 

The young yet unknown boy was on the roof of a store. He walked towards the edge of the building and looked at the ocean. Can I finally live my life in peace? I do not know, I ran away from what he called my "destiny". All I want is to have a normal life, nothing more." The boy took his hood off to reveal Kee's face. He looks as if he has not showered in weeks. Kee gets of the building and goes to his hide out the woods, a tent and fire ready when he returns.

 

At the Academy Marri and Lisa put their bags in a motor boat. Marri unties the rope and jumps in the boat. Lisa still stands on the Pier looking at the Academy.

 

Lisa: "Good bye Duel Academy." She takes a brief sigh and gets in the boat. "Okay....lets go."

 

Marri looks out into the ocean as he starts the boat. "Alright lets go. Get ready Kee were coming to find you weather you like it or not." The two set off into the water. On the Pier a small piece of paper is left taped to the Ground.
