Wait what? We have a soul?

 

Last time I checked, consciousness was just a mesh of chemicals and tissue working, a billion year old concept in progression. (or de-progression depending on how you think about consciousness)

 

If we make people to be slaves, we can cure all of societies problems with much ease. However, cloning people as they are now would be useless, because they can still want and dream. What we need is human intelligence in a being that does not want or dream, that just does what it is told to do because that's what it thinks life is meant to be for it.

 

Human cloning = Good.

 

Clone Slaves = Somewhat Questionable.

If you clone yourself perfectly your clone would think it was you because it would have all your thoughts and memories, then it would want to take control of your life and adventaly start cloneing itself because it would have a memory of that and then the would would over populate.

I think Star Wars wasn't a bad idea at all. Just solve all wars with clones with the DNA of the best fighter around.

Slaves - meh, but we maybe can use them for different works most people do not want.
