How ever, they did not call it Yu Gi Oh, they refered to it as Shadow Duels. They played with monsters trapped in stone tablets. Theries about this pop up regularly. One of the most poplar ones is that he fused with one of his duel spirits. The story goes like this...Flash BackIt was a sunny day. The sun blazed high in the sky. Fring-Ton sat in his golden throne looking out upon his domain. He saw nothing but perfection. In the distance, he saw the great forest of Rethro. To his left sat the Tomb Bulding, where his for-fathers were buried. To his right, his pride and joy, the duel arena. Here his people would fight in matches and tournements. The walls were about 300 feet tall and it could seat short of 500, 000 people. It regularly filled up.He looked out and saw something disturbing. A shape moving in the distance. It was dark and mysterious. He stode up. Imediatly his guards and servants cam forward offering to help.Fring-Ton: No, I must go by myself. He summoned his duel spirit and departed. He flew towards the Darkness. When he arrived he saw 10 Mysterious riders, armed and apperntly dangerous. In front was a walking man.Fring-Ton: Who are you?Stranger: I am your downfall.They began a terrible fight,both monsters equally powerful. But then the Stranger summoned a second, more powerful beast.Fring-Ton: How is that possible?Stranger: I have a personal invention. I call it the duel disk.He lifted a golden bracelet with what looked like a wing sprouting out of it.His monsters began over powering that of the War Lord. But Fring-Ton summoned all his strength.Fring-Ton: Mighty Dark Power. Please, I beseach thee. Let me and my Duel Spirit become one. Let us fight this fight together.A Darkness desended from the sky and covered them. When it lifted stode 1 amazing creature. When this card is Summoned both players must discard their entire hand. X is equal to the number of cards in you and your opponent's hand. This card cannot be destroyed for the first 3 turns it is on the field. This card cannot attack on the first turn it is summoned. Every time a monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, place 1 Pentacle Counter on this card. Once per turn you may remove any number of Pentacle Counters from this card to Special Summon a monster whose level equals the number of Pentacle Counters removed from this card.
