Their gymnists are underaged, and in every sport - the judges favor the chinese athletes. Also i noticed in the swimming, in the Chinese lanes-before they start there is water flowing towards the other side to help move them along.

I'm not contradicting myself. I cheer my country because I'm proud to be Canadian. I'm proud of the Canadians who are competing against the other countries around the world.

 

The Olympics are boring, and I don't like them.

 

But I'm proud of my country and want them to win.

 

It's like cheering for a family member, at a sport you don't like. Say you're brothers playing Hockey. You may not like it but you care for him so your going to cheer for him and be happy if he wins. ( Not actually you so you can't say something like " Oh well I dont have a brother! "

I love the Olympics, but sadly I missed the closing. I only saw the opening. I was at my cousin's wedding so I couldn't see it and none of my family remembered to record it to our TV.
