Greetings! I have just created a new Card/Board Game, known as Omega Coliseum! I know what SGY's gonna say ``A Card/Board Game? *cough*Warmyst*cough*'' but I made one because I FELT like it. The game's rule are still a work in progress, but here it is so far:

[spoiler=Rules]The Board:

20 squares vertically

20 squares horizontally

Terms and Definitions:

Conflict- What a game is, kind of like `Duel’ in Yu-Gi-Oh.

Gladiators- Like Monster Cards, Gladiators are the fighters in a Conflict.

Movement Pool- When you roll a dice to progress to a square, you have the option of taking some of the numbers and inserting them into your Movement Pool. So, if you get a small number like a 2 or 3, you can drag a certain set of numbers from your Movement Pool to add to the numbers on your die. This action is called a Boost. But, Boosts cost three Endurance Points per Boost.

Endurance, Health, Stamina and Mana Points- Endurance Points are the Points of a Gladiator that is lost per Movement, whenever a Gladiator is moved from one square to the other. If your Gladiator runs out of Endurance Points, then it’s Stamina and Mana Points will start to go down. This can be stopped by placing a Rest Tome on a Gladiator. Stamina Points are the Points that are mainly used in battle. The Stamina Points protect your Gladiator’s Health Points, and lost of all Stamina Points will mean that your Gladiator’s Health Points are wide open, and open to destruction. Health Points are the overall strength and health of a Gladiator. If a Gladiator’s Health Points are wiped out, then the Gladiator is destroyed. But, Health Points are usually very low in numbers, so it’s best to protect your Stamina Points to keep the Health Points from harm. Mana Points are consumed by the Gladiator when placing Tomes on that particular Gladiator. The more powerful the Tome is, the most likely it will drain away that Gladiator’s Mana Points.

Tomes- Tomes are basically the Spell Cards of Omega Coliseum. Tomes can either by placed on the Board, or on Gladiators depending on the effect of the Tome.

Different Types of Tomes- Rest- Rest Tomes are Tomes that are used on Gladiators. When placed on a Gladiator, a Rest Tome will increase the Gladiator’s Endurance Points depending on the effect and Consummation Cost. Barrier- Barrier Tomes negate the effects of other Tomes on the spot. Barrier Tomes are usually used on Gladiators in Combat to negate the effects of enemy Tomes to help their Gladiator or hinder your Gladiator. Barrier Tomes differ depending on the effect and Consummation Cost. Barrier Tomes wear of after one turn after being placed, though. Barrier Tomes can also be put on the Board to negate the effects of Disaster Tomes, and wear off in three turns. Assistance- Assistance Tomes are used in Combat between two Gladiators. They can cause effects on your Gladiator, increase his strength, stamina, or mana. The effects power wise differ depending on Consummation Cost. Disaster- Disaster Tomes are Tomes used on the Board. They immediately place Foundations on a specific number of squares depending on the power of the Tome, and your Disaster Roll. With the Disaster Roll, you roll with one die and depending on the number you get, it adds to the number of squares you can place your Foundations. Pitfall- Pitfall Tomes are basically the Traps of Omega Coliseum. It is placed in a square, and if an enemy Gladiator lands in that square, then it remains there for the duration of the Pitfall Tome’s effect. Necromancy- Necromancy Tomes are used in the Shade Pool. Depending on the Gold Cost and it’s effect it will bring a specific number of Shades back to life, depending on the Necromancy Tome’s effect.

Foundations and Obstacles- Obstacles are cards that are placed in a certain square where a matching Foundation is placed, and it is placed there, and no Gladiator will be able to be placed in that certain square for the duration of the Obstacle’s existence. Foundations are cards that are set in a certain square for an Obstacle. Foundations can be destroyed, they have Stamina and Health Points. But, when a matching Obstacle is placed on the Foundation, only Cavern Gladiators can attack the Foundation. Once the Foundation is destroyed, the Obstacle is destroyed. Obstacles are useless if they are not placed on a matching Foundation.

Strength Points- Strength Points are only used in Combat with another Gladiator. Each turn if your Gladiator’s in Combat, roll one die and determine the amount of Strength Points your Gladiator obtains to attack the enemy Gladiator’s Stamina and Health Points.

Burial Mounds- Burial Mounds are Obstacles that are the only Obstacles that do not require a Foundation of any kind. Whenever a Gladiator is destroyed in Combat, the square the destroyed monster was in creates a Burial Mound. Burial Mounds can only be passed through by Cavern Gladiators. When the Burial Mound is created, the dead Gladiator becomes a Shade, which will stay in your Shade Pool until the Burial Mound is destroyed. When a Gladiator’s Burial Mound is destroyed then your Shade will reappear as a Statue Gladiator, which will appear at the square behind the destroyed Burial Mound.

Shade Pool- The Shade Pool is where all your destroyed Gladiators (Shades) are stored. The only way a Shade can leave the Shade Pool is when it’s Burial Mound is destroyed or if it’s brought back by a Necromancy Tome.

Library- The Library is where your Tomes are stored. Whenever you draw a Tome from your Deck, you have the choice to either use it now or store it in the Library for future use.

Barracks- The Barracks is basically exactly like the Library, except it is used with Gladiators. If you do not wish to use a Gladiator at your turn, then simply store it in your Barracks. Whenever two Gladiators are in Combat, the owner’s of the two Gladiators must transfer all drawn Gladiators and Tomes (except Assistance and Barrier Tomes) to the Barracks or Library.

Gladiator Types- These are the Gladiator Types used in Omega Coliseum:

Soldier

Goblin

Dragon

Undead

Insect

Crustacean

Beast

Lizard

Archer

Special Types- Cavern- Cavern Gladiators have the ability to destroy Foundations and Burial Mounds. Also, depending on their ability, they can consume all of their Movement Pool so they could obtain a Boost whenever touching a Burial Mound square, thus getting to places more faster. Statue- Statue Gladiators are Gladiators that were brought back from the Shade Pool by the destruction of their Burial Mound or by the effect of a Necromancy Tome. Statue Gladiators lose -2 in each Movement Roll, and are relatively slow, but their Endurance Points are extremely high and obtain a +100 from their original Endurance stats when brought back to the field. Statue Monsters cannot do Combat with other Gladiators.

Points- There is one type of Main Point you have, called Gold Points. Gold Points are used to activate Tomes on the Board, and the more powerful the Tome, the more GP is lost. You earn GP every turn. You start out with about 10,000 GP

Objective of the Conflict- Find your way across the Board and attack the other player’s Core, which is positions in the exact middle of the Board, on the other player’s farthest back side. Attack the Core’s Shield and destroy it. Once you destroy the Core Shield, then the Gladiator will be sent back in front of your Core. Attack the Core twice more and destroy it. Once you destroy your enemy’s Core, you win the Conflict.

Number of Core Points: 2 Core Points, 1 Shield Point

I'm working on the plot of Season One, but here it is so far:

[spoiler=The Plot] Alastair Enyal has volunteered for the 2008 National OC Championships in Toy Town, the OC Capital of Krystak, filled with hundreds of coliseums, including the Grand Coliseum, the greatest OC Coliseum of the Globe. Hosting the tournament is Lord Azrael, the Premier of the Toyo Province in Krystak and Omega Coliseum Master. But, a secret organization is plotting to use the tournament for their own ends, and Azrael himself could be part of the plot too. Will Alastair and his friends Kiryia and Pojo win the tournament, or the life energy of the whole province be drained?

That's the plot, and now the characters!

[spoiler=Characters]

Name: Alastair Enyal

Age: 16

Hair Color: Red

Deck Type: Fantasy

Bio: Alastair Enyal has been playing OC since he was a kid. Born in the fabled Enyal Family, Alastair has always had a talent for playing. He is ambitious and always plans ahead of time, and is always seen as a spoiled rich kid by students who aren't his friends. He has dreams of high places, and he has all the potential to getting there.

Personality: Smart, intelligent, always has a trick up his sleeve. He calculates everything to a fine thread, but usually is too ambitious for his own good and his pride will cause him to make mistakes.

Name: Kirya Urmantle

Age: 16

Hair Color: Brown

Deck Type: Puppets

Bio: Kirya met Alastair in High School and soon grew a close friendship with him, along with her younger brother Pojo. Kirya is just as good as Alastair with Conflicting, though her overconfidence has made her lose plenty of times. She also harbors a secret crush on Alastair, and only Pojo knows it.

Personality: She's always bright and cheerful, loyal to her friends. But, she is usually extremely overconfidence and cocky and often blunders and loses due to this fact.

Name: Pojo Urmantle

Age: 14

Hair Color: Orange

Deck Type: Food

Bio: Pojo was Kirya's brother and met with Alastair in High School. At first Pojo was antisocial towards Alastair, but eventually he gave in and soon started up a heated self proclaimed rivalry of Alastair. He also likes to eat... alot, and is considered by alot of the kid's as the High School's `fat kid' though once you get to know him he can be pretty fierce and powerful, and half of that seeming `fat' is actually muscle.

Personality: Pojo's only real care in life in Food... and Conflicting, but between food and that Food usually wins over. Pojo is actually an extremely skilled player, but lost his enthusiasm at the age of 12 when the other kids bullied him and denied him access to their tournaments because of his body structure. Still, Pojo can be real passionate if he wants to, and when it gets personal, Pojo will be right down on it.

Expect Episode One in a couple of days, and more updates soon.

Damnit, you used the Gladiator term. Now I can't do mine. :( Back to the drawing board, then.

Pretty much everyone's forgotten about Warmyst; I'm amazed you still remember it.

A bit confusing, tbh. Maybe if you released the cards/figurines, we'd get it better. Oh, well, we'll wait for the first episode. Seeing a game in action will clear things up (I hope).

You were going to do the Gladiator term? Yeah, the rules are extremely confusing, but I'll try to make the duel clear it up. Also, I'm kind of too lazy at the moment to make the cards. They'll start appearing in the first episode. And how COULD I forget Warmyst?
