[Dusk/Dawn] ONLY 3 CARDS {GIVING +REPS}

"This card can only be activate by removing from play 2 monsters with "Chaos" in their names from your Graveyard. During each of your Draw Phases, instead of conducting a normal draw, you can add 1 "Choas Lord Simikiel-Dusk" or "Chaos Lord Sahaqiel-Dawn" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is removed from the field, destroy all "Chaos Lord Simikiel-Dusk" and "Chaos Lord Sahaqiel-Dawn" you control."

"This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand, and only by paying 500 Life Points when "Eclispse-Sun and Moon" is on your field. This card cannot attack during the same turn that it is Summoned. If you control a face-up "Chaos Lord Sahaqiel-Dawn"/"Chaos Lord Simikiel-Dusk", this card gains 3000 ATK/DEF."

Honestly' date=' I am freaked out by the images. Especially the Field Spell.

 

The cards are great, but I would say the boost in ATK/DEF of them should be somewhere around 2500 instead of 3000.

 

But overall, really good. Keep doing cards like this (with less creepy images) and you'll be a giant success.

If you've noticed, you have to keep them on the field for 1 turn before they get the 3000 boost :)

 

Sahaqiel is summoned on Defense Position (0 DEF) and you cannot change his battle position until your next turn

 

Simikielis summoned on Attack Position and you can only change his battle position with a spell or trap card (0 ATK)

 

So I think 3000 is appropriate :)

I find them significantly underpowered. In order to make any real use of these cards, you'll need to have them all in your control at once, which is a 3-card combo - and there are 3-card OTK's that are legal in Advanced Format. Giving Dawn a 2-card discard cost to summon doesn't help either, since two cards is a sizable portion of your hand. And even if you do have them all out, you still only have a couple of what are then essentially Vanilla Beatsticks - not the best reward for all that effort.

But this is only a basis for strategic play :)

With the right card combo, you can have 2 Level 8 monsters out on your field within 2 turns, if you play your cards right. These weren't intended to be used alone, because alone, they are exactly what you said.. Vanilla Beatsticks. They need support cards to maintain a strategy, such as Rare Gold Armour.

But getting them on the field requires a 3-card combo PLUS two "Chaos" cards in the grave to remove PLUS two other cards to use as discard fodder PLUS 500 Life Points...and the final reward is just a 3000/2500 beatstick and a 2500/3000 beatstick.

 

You'd be better off just using Blue-Eyes White Dragons with Vanilla support than these guys. Anything that can be used with these guys can be used with BEWD, and BEWD doesn't have such restrictive summoning conditions - a quick Ancient Rules or Birthright does the trick - and doesn't get removed when your Field Spell is killed.
