4 Major Announcements that might possibly change YCM.

Hello everyone, and welcome to a thread that I think will have an impact on YCM. I'm here tonight with four announcements, one of which may not be very important. However, I'm still going to inform you of all four things.

 

The first announcement is something that will have a major impact on every YCM card maker. Last year, on December 13, 2007, I posted a contest titled Card Makers Legacy Contest. This, in my opinion, is the biggest contest in YCM history. This contest is part of the reason that Dj Osiris and Yankeefan are as well-known as they are now. You can take a look at this contest by clicking this. Ok, some of you might be wondering why I'm mentioning this contest after almost a year. The reason I'm mentioning this contest is because I'm going to hold another huge contest, called Card Makers Legacy 2008. God Kaze was the winner of last year's contest, but someone else will have a chance to be the winner of this year's contest. The thing is, you can't just post in the contest thread and say that you want to join. You can only join the contest if you recieve an invitation. Ten members will recieve invitations, and one of those members will be one of YCM's former moderators, Frunk. I had tried to do this contest earlier in the year, and the invitations were a custom card using an image made by Instinct, but the contest didn't end up working out. However, the winner of this contest will recieve 1000 points, 6 reps, and the title of Card Making Legend. During this week, I will be looking at a lot of cards that are posted in the Realistic Cards section so I can find members to invite to the contest. If you'd like me to check out your cards, you can send me a pm and I'll check the cards out when I get a chance to.

 

The second announcement is one that might upset some people, and I'm sorry if it does upset anyone. I am no longer going to be a moderator. I have decided to quit being a moderator for pretty much one reason.

 

The third announcement is that on Monday, September 1st, I will give 1000 points to whoever makes the most posts.

 

The fourth announcement is that I'm going to be bringing back YCM Nightly, and I am going to select someone that I'd like to be the co-host. If you are interested in being a co-host, please send me a pm.

You (or Raven) told me that you were going to interview me for YCM Nightly. It didn't happen yet.

 

10 lucky people? Okay, I might as well say goodbye to my chances right now...

 

Losing another mod, are we? That's a shame, you were a good one too.

 

I really don't need 1000 Points. So I might as well make 1 post less than the top poster. lol :P

i only saw the names of three mods on that list, star, frunk who is gone already, and Dj, who has said he wants to be demoted to regular mod.

he said that, a week ago, the only reason i asked who the other mod was, becuase in your post you said, "well we lost two mods today"

No-one cares about your problems Claire, and whatever they are you don't take them out on people on internet forums, because that's just sad.
