I just started creating cards, but I wasn't sure where to put them, like splitting them into their relevant topics (if there is one) so figured I'd just make one for any cards I create. It will be updated when I make new ones :)

 

Please provide constructive comments if you can think of anything :D

And that's it for the "Cinder" line of monsters. Next update, something different. ^.^

 

"Cinder Dragon": This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Ascension to Cinders". You must also Tribute Volcano Dragon from your side of the Field and one monster with "Cinder" in their name. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters with "Cinder" in their name (except this card) by 300.

Okay, I know they're all pretty much the same, but there had to be one for each element for it to be balanced :)

Also, I'm wondering if the "Warrior Princess of Light" might be OverPowered?

I was unsure how to word this card's effect. It basically reverses a Tribute summon.

Is the card effect correctly worded? I don't know any card off the top of my head that has a different effect depending on the result.

Is the ArchAngel overpowered? I'm not quite sure how much of a bonus to give him per card to make it balanced...

 

"Samurai of the Moon": If there is a "Samurai of the Sun" on your opponent's side of the Field, both cards are destroyed. If "Samurai of the Sun" is successfully Summoned or Flip Summoned on your side of the Field, flip this card in Face Down Defense Position. When this card destroys a monster in Battle, gain 500 Life Points.

 

"Samurai of the Sun": If there is a "Samurai of the Moon" on your opponent's side of the Field, both cards are destroyed. If "Samurai of the Moon" is successfully Summoned or Flip Summoned on your side of the Field, flip this card in Face Down Defense Position. When this card destroys a monster in Battle, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's life points.

Regeneration Druid: Place a counter on this card at each of your End Phases. You may activate one of the following effects during your Standby Phase. Remove 1 counter to gain 300 Life Points. Remove 2 counters to take one monster card level 4 or lower from your Graveyard and put it in your Hand. Tribute this card with 3 counters on it to Special Summon a monster Level 5 or 6 from your Graveyard to the Field.

You didn't do the Volcanic Dragon pic justice!!!!

 

At least give it an effect!!!!! One of the greatest pictures this site has ever seen!

Not all monsters need to have an effect. The coolest ones can be normal monsters, just because then you can add that background text (as long as it's well thought out) and it's gonna be great :)

Although I agree that that pic is probably the one I found that fits best on a Duel Monsters card :D

Phoenix of Light

"As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent must send the top card from his/her Deck to the Graveyard every time he/she draws a card outside of his/her Draw Phase."

 

Incediary Pup

"Inflict 100 damage to your opponent's Life Points for every FIRE Monster in your Graveyard."

 

No need to add "attribute" despite what others may say.

 

Volcano Dragon

Bhim was right. You didn't do the Dragon justice. But whats he saying that it is one of the greatest pictures this site has ever seen for? Whether he used that Image I'm not sure but if he did then he failed to see that the Dragon Image posted up by STL was given to me!

So you can go check out the Perfect Dragon Competition, and see what kind of effect I gave it. Also while your there you will see another Dragon Image that is used, which is exactly the same Image that you used for your "Ascension to Cinders" Spell Card.

 

Cinder Dragon

Proper wording of a card is increase ATK not gain ATK. Gain is more to do with Life Points.

 

"As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters with "Cinder" in their name (except this card) by 300."

 

Dragon Disciple

"When this monster battles with a Dragon-Type Monster, increase the ATK of this card by 1000, during the Damage Calculation only."

 

Reference used was Ryu Kokki or Getsu Fuhma. Could use Insect Soldiers of the sky but I try to use newer cards.

 

Warlock

"Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field with "Cinder" in its name, and inflict damage equal to half of the Tributed monster's ATK to your opponent's Life Points."

 

reference used was Catapult Turtle.

 

Witch

"flip: Inflict 300 damage to your opponent's Life Points for every face-up monster with "Cinder" in its name on your side of the field."

 

Great Priestess of Cinder

"When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, you can select 1 Level 4 or lower monster with "Cinder" in its name, and add it to your hand. The Deck is then shuffled"

Wow, I didn't expect someone to actually correct all of my cards o.o

Thanks alot.

 

Warlock: I used Cannon soldier as an example. Thanks for the clear up.

 

Great Priestess: Good call, didn't think about the shuffling part.

 

I updated the cards, now all I need is to upload the corrected versions.

 

And I have tons of ideas for more cards, I'm just short on time (work). I even have the pictures already.

 

And by the way, with the amount of people actually creating cards (and wanting to use the best quality images as possible), we're bound to find duplicate images eventually, especially if we happen to have the same source for images. It's just something we have to live with, and be a good sport about (unless it's YOUR image and you don't want someone else to use it).

 

Besides, it's all fun and games. It's not like any of them are going to become actual cards (I wish :P )

As always, I tried to word them to the best of my abilities, if any of them is worded wrong, let me know so I can fix it :)

 

And of course, please share comments and ideas. I'm still a noob at this, although I'm trying really hard ^.^
