ok then, round 2 is over. maxscool hasnt provided a card, so he is eliminated, and the person who had a pass will now take his spot in the matchups.

 

i will decide as to who is the winner of each matchup.

 

ill post the results when i find them out for myself.

ok, the results are in, here are the winners of the two matchups, who will face off in the finals

 

Matchup 1: Steven Cope vs. The Legend of Rahim

Winner: The Legend of Rahim

 

to be perfectly honest, these are not the best cards ive seen out of either of you.

Rahim, there are a few little OCG problems, but it was well balanced and well thought out.

Steven, your card didnt really do much i dont think. You lose 500 lp every time the monsters effect activates, which decreases your opponents lp by 300 and increases its ATK by 300. then, after it does this 5 times, you have lost 2500 lp, your opponents has lost 1500 lp, and the monster has gained 1500 lp. then you decrease the monster ATK back to normal, and you gain the difference. however, you only gain back 1500 lp, so after all of this, you decreased your lp by 1000 to decrease your opponents lp by 1500 in 5 turns. its kidna a bit pointless if you see what i mean

 

matchup 2: Zaca (DQ'd) vs. OMGAKITTY

winner: OMGKITTY

Zaca, your card didnt follow the rules of the round. i told you to make a card that had something to do with the effect monster you posted in round 1. in this card, you referenced a Light Warrior-Type and a Light Dragon-Type. however, the card you posted in round one was a dark dragon-type monster. so the card had nothing to do with your monster. im sorry, but i established in round 1 that i would eliminate anyone who doesnt follow the rules, and this falls under that rule.

oh and also, i belive that i promised a small prize to the person who posted my favorite card of the round.

 

well this round, my favorite card was posted by OMGAKITTY whos card was extremely well balanced.

As long as this card remains on the field, Winged Beast-Types cannot be Summoned. Destroy any Winged Beast-Types on the field when this card was Summoned. If this card is destroyed by battle, Special Summon it to the field. Every time this card is Special Summoned by this effect, increase it's ATK by 200. You can discard any number of Winged Beast-Type monsters from your hand during your Main Phase to deal damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the number of cards you discard x400. If this card's ATK is higher than 3000, remove this card from play.

I'm probably going to lose with this epic fail card :sad: but here it is :

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned either by removing 3 Level 4 Beast-Warrior monsters with an added ATK of 4600 in your Graveyard from play or by it's own effect. When a monster on your side of the field is select as an attack target, you can pay 800 Life Points to destroy the attacking monster by sending this card to your Graveyard. During your End Phase, if this card was sent to your Graveyard by its own effect you can Special Summon it to your side of the field. Each time this card is Special Summoned from your Graveyard, decrease its ATK by 500. When this cards ATK reaches 0, remove it from play. Then, Special Summon 1 Beast or Beast-Warrior monster from your hand which has a Level equal to or less than the number of turns this card has been on the field.

ok, the results are in.

 

first off, congratulations to steven cope who will take 3rd place and the prize of 1 rep in this contest for being the best of the two eliminated last round.

 

now then, for first and second place

 

 

OMGAKITTY...you card well very nice, but there were quite a few OCG issues, including two in the name of the card. scarecrow doesnt have any "k"s in it nor do they both need to be capitilized, and there were also a few in the effect.

 

The Legend of Rahim...i also thought your card was very good. the only problem i saw was that in the effect, one of the parts said that it can only be special summoned either by its own effect or if you remove 3 Level 4 Beast-Warrior monsters with an added ATK of 4600 in your Graveyard from play. i think you instead meant for it to be an added ATK of 4600 or more.
