Steven Cope Posted September 4, 2008 Report Share Posted September 4, 2008 [spoiler=Chapter 1: The Joining of Two Evils] Lightning flashes over a dark, eerie mountain which is rotten and diseased. A smell of evil and destruction blankets the land as the surrounding trees and rock cast gloomy, distorted shadows that give off a sense of fear and panic. It is here that no sign of life exists, or if it does, it is most likely corrupt and mangled, with no soul or compassion coursing through its entire body. Here is where only the foulest of foul, the evilest of evil, the darkest of dark would ever dare live. A dazzling, green light mingling with shine of the lightning, glows from a cavern in the rock face. The cavern is tiny and the ceiling is so low an average human would need to crouch down to enter. The place is filled with a stench of dampness that is years old and is as eerie as the land outside, but with a chill of ice cold, colder and more harsher then the Arctic lands themselves. It is at the very back of this cavern where the source of this glorious, green light stands, a circular blob of shining, green energy whose very core is devouring the light from this world, and its eyes are as black as the night sky outside, but with revenge etched all over them. “Those lousy humans”, muttered the energy with bitterness radiating from its body. “They think they can just discard me. Well we shall soon see when I escape from this death trap and crush the ones who put me here, The Pharaoh and his little friend Yugi.” “Is that all you are going to do? Just talk about doing it, never actually do it?” sarcastically yells a voice through the glow coming from the green energy sphere. “Who’s there?” called back the green energy. “Do you not know who you are dealing with? I’m the Orichalcos and I’m not to be angered.” The Orichalcos looked up and saw an energy quite like itself, but only white like the innocent snow. But this white energy, whatever it was, was anything but innocent. “You may not know me, you were gone from earth when I arrived”, said the white energy. “But I know loads about you Orichalcos; you tried to destroy and rebuild the earth under your control a few years back and failed. Failed because the body you possessed was too weak to achieve your goals, which reminds me of when I arrived on earth to conquer and lead everyone to see the light. It was also because of a weak body that I possessed, that inferior human named Sartorius, who if I had not possessed but someone far superior, I would have succeeded in my plans”. “And do you really think I care?” called the Orichalcos. “Yes because I have a proposition for you, but first we need to be clear on a few things. You need a body to be free of this dank place that is your prison and you want revenge on the people who sent you here in the first place correct? Well I’m in the same boat, I need a body to be free and I want my revenge on those who entrapped me, making us even. Thus I propose we work together, the Orichalcos along side the Light of Destruction, giving us ultimate power with which to crush our adversaries, Yugi and Jaden”, proclaimed the Light. The Orichalcos pondered this idea for a moment inside his head, and then spoke his thoughts. “What about a body?” It murmured. “We can make our own body, for when we combine our energies we shall know power beyond anything anyone has known, making a body shall be a simple task”, answered the Light. Then we can look to locate and destroy the two humans who ruined us, are you in or are you out?”“I’m in”, replied the Orichalcos without hesitating. “Then let us become one”, bellowed the Light and it shot towards the Orichalcos causing their energies to explode and intertwine letting off a blinding light filled with the hatred of a dozen men. The light from the two powers engulfed the entire cavern and ricoshade of the walls like bullets, lasting for many minutes. When the light died down a human stood where the Orichalcos and Light of Destruction originally stood, a human that was not a normal looking human at all. It looked like it was made of light or vapour rather then flesh and shone brighter then the sun, while the face was twisted into a smile of great evil and nastiness. Power radiated from its very core as it began to rise to its feet. “We are ready. We shall prevail, we are the Orichalcos of Destruction and nobody shall stop us, not Yugi, not Jaden, nobody”, cackled the evil abyss of darkness the Light and Orichalcos had become. “The world is ours.” “Yes but first a quick pit stop to replenish our strength Light”, said the Orichalcos butting in. “Good call, but where?” answered the Light. “Well”, drawled the Orichalcos. “We can always pay a visit to my not so much friends from the monster realm, I’m sure it will be fun and rewarding to watch them run in fear at my rebirth along side you.” The Orichalcos of Destruction then faded as it started its teleportation through realms to the Monster realm, so it could absorb the power of the monsters and regain its strength for its decent on earth and the two unsuspecting duelists named Yugi and Jaden. Ready to crush all in the way of their mad desire for revenge, no matter who got in their way.
