N00B Hunter
Yeah, sure. I'll give you the schpeal (I think that's how you spell it).Since this card is judged in the "Realistic Cards" section of the forum, I'm judging it like a realistic card, just for reference. If you have a problem with that, then move the thread and I'll judge it there under different restraints. "Imperfect Cyber Dragon" is an interesting name for this card, but I'm not sure how it ties in with the picture. There's nothing "imperfect" about the "Cyber Dragon" on the card -- it just looks like an alternate art to me. You didn't have circulation (nice. Keep it that way), and your copyright was good, but two other things killed you. The holo, first of all. NEVER, in all of the TCG's history, have they released an all-holo Yu-Gi-OH Card. If you want to go play "Poke'mon" or "Naruto", feel free. But this is Duel Monsters, and we don't allow that kind of childrens' garbage ^^. Next was the circulation (which didn't actually kill you, but you can do better). "CYBER"... are you kidding me? The first 3-5 letters are an acronym of sorts, and what does "CYBER" stand for? Nothing, I'll bet. Create an acronym-like-thing for your card. Something like "CYSI", which stands for Cyber Single... assuming nothing else is going in your set, this card would then be CYSI-EN001, which is much less obvious than CYBER-EN001. Aesthecity: B- Balance is out the window too. I know "Crab Helmet" could come up with something intelligent to say, but I'm tired right now ^^, so I'll just mention that getting any card you want in a deck is usually too much for any strategy (like getting "Mirror Force", or "Monster Reborn".) composed of a single card. Not only that, but you don't take battle damage with this card. So you summon it, attack, don't lose LP, and then get any card you want from your deck... any key component to your deck. This works like "DDC", but it's in monster form (benefit), and you get the battle damage avoider (benefit), and the card is in your hand for other possible combinations before the 2 turns are up. I see a lot of use, or this card would be banned. Balance: D+ Lastly, of all things, is OCG. At the beginning of your clause, I was slugging through knee-deep cyanide ("And it's go boys go... they'll time your every breath." Don't get it? Never mind then... ^^), but near the end things cleared up. I'll rewrite the effect because it's short:"The controller of this card takes no Battle Damage from a battle involving this monster. When this card is destroyed by battle' date=' you may remove 1 Spell, Trap, or Monster card from play from your hand to select and add 1 of the same type of card from your deck to your hand. The selected card cannot be played for until your second End Phase after it was added to your hand."[/quote']OCG: B Average Grade: C+Not so good. When looked at analytically. Major things to fix are your unorthodox holographic work, that muddy OCG at the beginning, and your completely wrecked balance. I see potential in this card, and you can make it good if you work at it!
