Dad
And the lot of you act like you don't remember this day. Many lives were lost, and many heroes died. And for what? Not so much as a thanks you. It actually shocks me to know that not one of you remembers 9/11. ANd don't say you do just because you're reading this. I lost 3 of my own family in this, so I celebrate this every year. Don't like it? GTFO. ~Xemnas
Larxene
You think that just because we don't go around posting threads about it, that means we forgot?
Dad
Not a fact. I just think it should've at least been mentioned once, somewhere. It affected all of us. ~Xemnas

EliminateHRN
I remember it. None of my family was lost in it but it was a sad day. I remember when I heard about it. Still, me and my friends even talked about it at school today.

Zexaeon
._. I certainly remembered. One of my friends' birthday is today, it's pretty hard to forget, since we're all reminded of it everytime her birthday rolls around.
Bloodrun
My professor was talking about 9/11 this morning. And how the US press corp, reads each name of the people whm were lost every year, and he said. that it was stupid that they did it, that they have taken something special, and turned it into media and politics. That pissed mee off so much. And I told him, how is it not about Politics?it turned the 21st century, into a distress, it officially put the biggest pressur of the 21 century on our president, ranking up with WWII, and Slavery. and he is pissed about the reading of names? I mean pearl Harbor does the same thing, except its an event, I meant, the single rashing of a tower, brought a nation into war, and he cant live with names being read on the news? Old people can be stubborn, but stuck on a belief that everything has to be done like they did in the old days?! This discussion, happened to also bring him to the topic of presidential burial, and how Regans wife, made people keep her Husbands body un burried, so people couldn't say negative things about him. She had his body toured throughout the US, she wanted her husband to have the Lincoln burial, and the Kennedy Burial. This also kinda pissed me off, not towards him though, but towards the fact that people will say crap to you when your alive, behind your back, that the reporters would make celebrities lifes, a living hell, but when they die, before thery're burried, they're eulogies, and crap say nothing negative, but all positive. Be honest, for living sakes -.-" I'm sorry, im really touchy when it comes to 9/11, hypocrits >_>

Guest
Take a look at how many people die of starvation every day while others live in luxury. The numbers aren't in the thousands; they're in the tens of thousands. The deaths of fewer than three thousand people in a one-time isolated event is only considered significant because the people who died had money. And that's terrible. Dad
It's not like I don't consider the many lives lost everyday to many of Earth's disasters and economic tragedies of other countries. But it angered me to an extent so not see this mentioned. Ah well. It may be the past, but every eyar, it affects me around this time. ~Xemnas
bury the year
A good 13 people from my town were killed in that incident... I don't live in New York, though, and none of them were related to me. It's still a depressing memorial. :(
